Marvel is a juggernaut in the movie industry.All they have to do right now is place their logo in front of a movie title and the public(both local and international) laps it up without question(E.g. Venom).This is what DC lacks at the moment.Despite a very good second and third trailer and high praise from some movie critics,the general public is still questioning Aquaman being a good movie.
That is why I also believe SONY/MARVEL Into the Spiderverse will also be a bigger box office hit than Aquaman.
P.S. Give me a witty and whimsical Tim Burton Batman Returns 1992 than a grim and charmless Chris Nolan Dark Knight 2008 and I'll always choose the former

Mary Poppins Returns has box office projections of around $70m for opening weekend.

Into the spiderverse has box office projections of around $30-$40m for opening weekend same with Bumblebee but it could get better.

Aquaman most realistic box office projections for opening weekend is $65-$70m if not more.

Ticket sales for Aquaman broke records and WB moved up release dates in some countries and gave fans the chance to see it on Amazon prime one week earlier plus booking 100 more theatres for the movie due to high demand.

Take those box office projections with a pinch of salt.

From now till the release dates those December movies will do more marketing and early screenings to get more buzz.

So this argument is best revisited on the last week of December.
