to be honest davido has improved tremendously within the last couple of months while wizkid has retrogressed within the same period . the funny thing about music showbiz is , when an artiste is retrogressing , many of the fans wont see it or say it , they will just wait till another artiste comes up and they will shift away , this was what they did to dbanj, they kept calling him eja nla till he lost it all musically .
the second aspect is the team working with davido , the caliber of people you surround yourself with will actually determine how far one will go in life , davido spares no money in bringing the best hands to his DMW group and they always give him the best, when you move with the best players and you are serious , no matter how bad you are you will certainly get better .

This is very true..I, as someone who plays the guitar,and everyone who plays musical instrument knows that it is easier to make an instrument cover on a Davido song than Wizkid's..Because there is change in notes and pitch in davido songs which he manages to hit (It is still a mystery how he does it effortlessly)..And when it comes to lyrics..They both have almost the same quantity of none sense but also as a song-writer,you could sense that Davido still puts more efforts in his none-sense than Wizkid..Because you can clearly see that his songs are written and almost well composed,unlike wizkid whose songs are clearly freestyles produced from marihuana (These can be seen from excessive repetition of words)..
Well,you can't compare someone who has studied a profession to someone who hasn't..

What makes good music is the ability of the singer to follow the tenets of music and deliver same with strong vocals. Check 'The Lazy Song' by Bruno Max. It won lots of awards, and what was the song all about? About a guy saying that he doesn't want to work but would laze around instead. Again, what made sense to you may not make sense to another person. What matters is whether the vocals are good, whether the lyrics are extraordinary and not whether it made sense or not.

Obo never leaves his studio because they help him to write his songs !! even if you're the one ft him you must come to his studio... Davido buys his songs while Wizkid writes his. Dearth of lyrics is one of the negative effects of writing your own songs as also noticeable with Tekno who also writes and most times produces his songs.

I'm a die hard wizzy fan but I must admit Davido has really gotten better over the years, I mean this guy has a way of tuning his frog voice to something u want to hear over and over again. I started liking Davido when he did "summer body" olamide tried his possible best to destroy that song but Davido covered all olamide"s non sense with his marvelous pitch.
