What Is The Morality Of Hell? by johnydon22(m): 6:11pm On Dec 17, 2018
Many Christian sects believe in a literal place of perpetual burning and punishment for those who fail to do the will of God in this life or simply didn't believe in God or maybe just not found in the book of life.

Now, most justice systems employs punishment. For this to make sense, a punishment is required to be in some way proportional to the crime committed.

A murderer is killed or sentenced to life imprinsonment.

When a punishment exceeds a crime, it fails to be justice.

When a punishment is less than a crime, it also fails to be justice, we call that mercy.

Life on earth ends at 70 on average, hell is perpetual.

Trillions of years is only but a blink.

what is the morality behind the punishment of hell?

Can a just God punish a finite transgression with an infinite punishment and still be termed just?

God is a Spirit

Whatever God sees, He weigh the level of their spirituality, either positive or negative

All negative spirits goes to hell. Case closed, it's simple maths

there's no absoluteness in these...it's a matter of perception, hence; subjective.

There is a phone with a virus

There is a phone without a virus

The virus doesn't affect the hardware, it destroys the software

A phone with a virus can be removed and if not removed would lead to the destruction of the phones program hence making the phone good as bad.

Bad phones goes to the trash, good phones lives on

I believe that sinners will be annihilated by the fire of hell. That means that I don't believe that there is a place burning right now where the evil dead go. All the evil dead lie in their grave now and await the judgment of God which will put them out of existence. They will not be alive forever burning. That would mean that they have everlasting life too, just in another location different from Heaven. But everlasting life is something reserved for only the righteous. Instead the fire of hell will destroy sinners, and they will stop existing. I believe too that the scene of that great conflagration will be this Earth.
Re: What Is The Morality Of Hell? by MrPresident1: 9:10pm On Dec 17, 2018
We have told you people that there is no furnace up there in the skies where God incinerates people, but, you never listen. Always asking questions but never wanting to hear the truth. God does not have a furnace anywhere where he incinerate people. Hell and heaven are symbolic language for punishment/poverty, and enjoyment respectively. Like Anglo-America is the heaven of this world while countries like Nigeria dominated by black people are the hell of this world.

Nobody goes to heaven when they die, they go to rest. Then they re-incarnate to face their punishment right here on earth, because under the sun is the place of judgment

Ecclesiastes 3:16
And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

Ecclesiastes 1:3
What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh  under the sun ?

As you can see for yourself in the two verses above, under the sun is the place of labour, it is also the place of judgment.

When a person dies, he joins God, he rests until he incarnate again to pay for the sins of past life.

Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

If the spirit returns to God who gave it, and we know that God is spirit and dwells in unapproachable light, where then can hell be located in him?

Besides, can fire burn spirit?

There will be no annihilation, they will pay for their sins, right here, on this earth, forever.

Isaiah 66:24
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

The Bible describes those that have sinned against God as the walking dead. Their worm shall not die, their fire will never quench, and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.

Full consciousness, but mentally dead.

Malachi 4:3
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

The Best thing to happen here is let the person in doubt of the reality of hell just die and pls tell God you only left to confirm Hell.

After then, when you wake just tell us on this tread what you saw and we shall believe you.

Truth is universal. There are no furnaces where spirits are in incinerated.

I have presented a decent explanation of hell in my preceding comments on this thread.

You are unwilling grin, but it's ok. When Christ comes, all will be made plainer. In the meantime, choose God's commandments, and fear him.

Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Thread directly questions the type of Christians that subscribe to a literal idea of hell.

I do not think this is as effective as you make it appear. They are literally hundreds of people who claimed to have died and gone to either heaven or hell.

How many of them do you believe?

In your own personal belief system, how are cosmic transgressors rewarded?

I think the journey is more important than that answer, I would prefer not to deny you the pleasure of figuring out the lies.

Keep asking questions you will see the light and truth.
Have fun bro. You just started your journey leaving behind the 99% of mindless humans in the world.

Try reading the posts on the religion threads, they will help.

Have you finished reading your bible. You should, both the old and new testament.

Are there things about God that feel weird?

On the hell fire thing,
It seems a God who can do anything, wouldn't bother to create an hell fire, he could just unmake the bad souls right.

Why stop there, why not destroy the source of all evil once and for all.
But that brings another question, if God created the devil and the devil became bad, how is it possible for God who is everything and can do anything , to make something and it becomes evil cry.

Does this mean there is another entity out there that has power on par with God and can corrupt his works?

Or is God the embodiment of good and evil?

This a few to think on.

Revelation 14
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 20
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
