This might sound funny but I like the ending of the anime I do not think it needs a third season.I do buy your theory that it might be an interdenominational gateway but aliens not so much.

i'm not suprised about boruto. Studio Pierrot hasn't been known for producing good dubs anyway. Some of the anime i really enjoyed in dub include Cowboy bebop, fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, baccano, the disastrous life of saiki k, hinamatsuri, FLCL, fate unlimited bladeworks and my hero academia

i dont want any alien stuff...the story isn't focused on what brought about the heavens and hell gates but instead on how it affected the world...
The gate in south america vanished with a large mass of area all around it when Bai stopped the Syndicate from killing all contractors around the world

i quite enjoy the dubs actually. my all time favorite is baccano. in fact, the dub was better in the case of baccano. search the anime and you will see what i mean

If you haven't watched baccano, i suggest you do. its set in America during the time when the mafia was prevalent(1930s), and the english voice actors did an amazing job of portraying the accents. watching the sub, you couldn't tell the new yorker from the guy from boston or chicago

He got his powers from his sister Bai...and her obeisance is sleeping but he doesnt hav any cos he wasnt originally a contractor...just like the cat Yuan and the other contractor who could switch bodies...those two lost their bodies so they dont hav any obeisance

And I noticed they skipped loads of stuff from the old one.. I remember quite a few episodes were wasted on Gon trying to convince his guardian to let him take the hunger exam, and also trying to catch that fish


But in this 2011 he already caught the fish in episode one

In What arc are these guys? I started losing interest after Gon and Killua left that fighting competition. The next arc- the one about their friend going after that gang (with members sporting a spider tattoo on their back) caught my fancy but the end was very disappointing.

I labored through Greed Island and decided the effort isn't worth it. So I just dropped it.

Just resumed today after hearing (from sharex15) that the next arc is interesting. Hope these Chimera ants' queen has something fascinating up her sleeve.

After the Chimera Ant arc, you'll see more of the Zodlyck family and the mystery Gon's dad is. My love for Illumi though...

I don't see the end of the Phantom Troupe arc as disappointing.
