Thanks for the mention Pabon.
I must commend you for this story.
It's a masterpiece.
It's not everyday someone get to read supernatural & adventure story on NL.
Also about your question...
I'll gladly buy your story if you put it for sale so far if you give assurance that it's good.
I just will like to call your attention to something first.
Have you read story like False Pretences by repogirl?
That story is a masterpiece but she decided to take it to her blog or okadabooks for sale and she lose alot of readers.
That's why i'll always respect Centino the writer of 225 Katakata Street,He frankly said he won't take his story to okadabooks to make 200naira airtime and lose his readers and recognition as a writers.
I strongly will like you to consider your options well because most readers don't buy book from site.
I pray God help you to publish out in a real book soon(est)
I am Pheezie.

When George returned to the realm, he was greeted with chaos. Debris littered the walkways and a good number of houses had been raced down to the ground. As he ran, he found it difficult breathing through the smoke that clung to his nostrils. He could hear the screams of the women from a distance. He ran like he'd never done all his life. He was already regretting not giving the instructions earlier. Why had he waited till the Solstice had begun?

They could already be injured, or worse dead and it will be his fault. All over again.

When he arrived at the courtyard where the Sons of Thorank had been waiting, he met them disheveled and in no shape for a fight. Some were wounded and were being tended to. Seeing the looks on their faces was enough to tell him they were disappointed but it was their defiance to his instructions that spoke more than anything.

"Why should we go when you cannot even lead us? You cannot even do magic yourself. Are you not just sending us to our death?" It was one of the third sons that had spoken.

George was surprised one of the sons of Thorank could question his authority. He hadn't been expecting it. He felt the anger rising slowly seeping into his fingertips where a fire would flare in minutes. He had to control it.

Reason over emotions.

Though it would feel good striking the son down, far more pressing issues had to be dealt with. Plus, they needed as many good hands as they could get. There was an evil to be dealt with and truthfully there was a need to pacify these men, assure them that he was every inch prepared for the war which was already looming like snow on Christmas morning. They need to know that he wouldn’t abandon them in the heat of battle. He chose his next words before speaking them knowing quite well that they were going to be weighed like coals on wooden scales.

The sons of Thorank would be feeling that I am incapable of leading them to the battle. He thinks to himself. However, there’s no time. Every minute spent not acting could be devastating.

“I’m sorry but there’s no time for deliberating my intentions. I am the chosen one. I am the prophesied and it is my duty to lead you to battle. You will follow my orders as we try to defend the realm.” The Thorank fellow who had questioned his authority stifled a grunt but George hears it and looks him squarely in the eye.

“Do you have something to say?” The Thorank fellow eyes him back as though welcoming a challenge but then his shoulders slumped in defeat. He had seen the finger at George’s side lit with fire, the same color that the king’s eyes now burned.

“Nothing my…y king!”

“Better.”

“Now, you, the first sons,” he pointed to the red-marked headed sons, “are to take position at the centre of the realm. You will fight fire with fire and you will not abandon your post for anything. So much depends on you. You have the ability to work with fire and you will be required to redirect as many fireballs as you can. You will ensure that there is very little damage done from the lunarlings.” George wondered where the name had come from. It was even surprising the way he was dishing out the instructions. One would think he had this rehearsed but in truth he only just said the words as they came into his mind, which was at this moment like a fountain of unheard knowledge, the words he spoke cascaded from them like rivulets full of wisdom. From the way the Sons looked at him, he could tell they thought the same way too. He was quite surprised as well but he tried hard to conceal this from the people. They needed to trust in his guidance.

“Second sons are to station themselves are to also join the first sons at the centre of the battle. Use your giant size to take down as many of these creatures as you can. You will act as our main offensive while the first sons will be your cover. For now I want you to forget about your worries, your deepest fears and focus on weathering the storm, on protecting the realm. That should be your desire, your passion, and your drive.”

Then he pointed to the fourth sons. He could feel their hearts, they were equally as scared as he was but like him, they concealed it. “You will ride the wind and help put your brothers in the war. You are our legs and eyes. You will be on the lookout...” he whirled to turn to the third sons.

“To you I give a solemn task. I have heard of the sudden surprise. It is one of the ancient weapons wielded by the force unknown. They walk on two and should make their way here. You are to shield the realm.” They numbered fifty and as he spoke, George could feel a sorrow burrowing its way into his heart. For that brief moment, he doubted that he had spoken rightly. He knew that soon, all or if lucky, many of these men would be no more. He watched them all dispatch and scatter into different directions like dust to the wind. He knelt down immediately he saw the last one depart, his knees finding wet earth. He was dead scared of what was to happen. He bent his head to the ground and muttered a prayer.

“I do this for you father. I do this to release those and that which binds you. See me through!” He didn’t believe his father would hear but he needed to believe something at that moment, something to give him confidence. A hand gripped his shoulder that very moment.

“Rise son. The sky beckons, the creatures of darkness approach.”

He had no time to reply Mr. Logan as the realm was suddenly soaked in darkness. Even the flame he conjured couldn’t break the darkness. It didn’t take long before he psychically heard the first scream of a fallen Thorank and many others followed.

I will be back to edit this piece. Enjoy and leave your comments

A flying fireball came approaching him. He ducked just in time to evade it. He looked up to see his assailant. His stomach rumbled at the sight. Silhouetted in the sky, the creature's mouth hung open as greenish slime trickled out. It had the head of a shark but its body bore semblance to a hippopotamus. It was heading for his direction with amazing speed for something that heavy.
George aimed a stunning spell at it.

"Nostram!"

The creature stopped in its track and fell down to the earth with a thud, raising dust in its fall. Confirming it was dead, George turned his attention again to the sky where a ravenous monkey had appeared. It had hands that were hairless and large. It had a mouth that could pass for a beak and was attempting to set fire to their house.

“Wrong house you idiot,” George said as he stupefied the creature with the same stunning spell. It dropped to the ground with a speed faster than the other had been.

George turned to see Mr. Logan contending seriously with a bat-winged bear. Mr. Logan attacked with such an aggressiveness he hadn’t imagined the man possessed. Looking into his face as he doubled for him in the assault, he realized he didn't know this man at all. Quite well, the same cloak hung unto his fatherly frame but the face was different. His brows were creased and George thought he saw the evil eye as he acknowledged his presence. He had to concentrate on not trying to discern what had happened to his mentor. Tried as much as he could, it didn’t work. Not when felt strands of hair prick him as he came in contact with the older man’s body. Mr. Logan had never liked keeping hairs on his body. Something had definitely happened to him.

What could have happened while he was away?

There was no time to find out as the creature had begun piling them with fireballs that needed extinguishing. As George quelled the assault, he watched with uncanny interest as Mr. Logan jumped up with such vehemence that George feared he would sprain his ankles. However, he met his target and with one big swoop, tore it down. He tore the animal apart with his bare hands. George didn’t know what to make of this and for that moment, he forgot about the battle and just watched Mr. Logan do his damage. It was like watching as your favorite athlete competes in a competition. He liked the new Mr. Logan however strange he now seemed. All through their preparation for this battle, he had wondered how he was going to protect the old man. He had even once proposed that Mr. Logan get to a safe place, like the fort where the elixir was being kept. Mr. Logan had out rightly refused the idea and said it was only cowards that feared the inevitable.

“Had did you do that?” he asked as Mr. Logan got up from decimating the creature. He gave George a smirk as he turned around to look at him.

“Some things are better left unsaid George.”

Although George wanted to reply, he had the feeling Mr. Logan needed what he was seeing kept silent. And when did he ever get called by name by Mr. Logan?

He shoved the anxiety out of his mind and looked to the battle raging before him. He was surprised at what he saw. It was like the sky had broken loose and all of hell let loose. They weren’t many of them when he sent out the instructions. Now, every available space was filled with the stench and cruelty of these demons that he wondered if he could really do anything. The sons of Thorank were doing their best to withstand the attacks and were already failing at it. He watched as one of them dropped to the floor as one of the creatures bit into him. Its teeth sank in like a pickaxe on muddy soil. The Son cried out as his flesh began to deteriorate at a fast pace. George recognized him immediately. That was Sanie, a teenage boy, about his age, who had showed him so much kindness since he came to the realm. George looked straight at the creature that was already coming for him. His fingers contracted into a fist as he felt the adrenaline seeping into his veins, shot at the creature a damning spell.

“Valun decimal!” What he had sent out was a curse that ate its victim ten times the normal rate. Its entrails would dry up before he could even think of doing something about it. He would never use this against a human but this creature more than deserved it. He watched as it fell close to the Son it had bitten and George saw the light go out of its eyes. He ran to it, not satisfied that it had just gone that like that without screaming out in pain. It was dead before he got there. George turned to the Son and in his eyes were the look of plea. George knew there wasn’t anything he could do about him and this made him angrier. The Son’s blood trickled out like a broken tap and his hold on George’s arm loosened until his body went limp.

George got up then and began attacking every single one of the creatures he could find with a killing curse. He shot them down with the ease of lighting up a flame. The anger in him helped his course as rage flared, his focus sharpened, and his spells met their target. In a matter of minutes, he had struck down more of the creatures that many of the other Sons put together. However, he was beginning to feel weak and the more lunarlings he killed, the more of them that remained. They had to be multiplying. There was no way they could be this many.
As George felt the strength giving way, his thought drifted from the battle to Cordelia whom he had left in the woods. He had to be strong for her. It had been his wish to get this battle done, at least his bit before going back to rescue her. He couldn’t give up. She had to be alive. He wished he had the same psychic connection he shared with her that he did with the Thorank fellows. He needed to know that she was alright.
Every spell he threw now was making him weaker and he didn’t dare stop. Not when a lot of the lunarlings now focused on him and were firing their deathly shots at him with the obvious intent to kill him. He fell to the ground no longer able to keep his footing. The creatures took this as a cue to finish him and they begin directing all their assault at him. Even those who had been finishing off the Throrank fellows left them and turned their focus to him. George scanned helplessly for Mr. Logan but he was nowhere to be found, at least not among those still left standing. Any moment now.

He made a last grasp effort to repel the lunarlings. He had to do the repelling curse that would jab them all and send them miles backward. This however needed strength. He needed to raise his hands but the strength was not there anymore. At last, he surrendered to his unforeseen fate. The first of the band of fireballs tore down. A scream rent the air as he felt the burning sensation.

One thing most readers don't understand is that a lot of talent goes into starting and completing a whole book.
If the author decides to monetize it I don't think it should call for insults, besides, most of the books are usually very cheap.

Try to be considerate, it is not easy.
