Yes you can apply with statement of result. Are you going for PhD or Msc?

PhD physics

You can use statement but you will have issues when authenticating your results at the ministry of education. you can only authenticate when you have your transcript. So don't make that mistake unless you're sure of getting either of them before your processing time. Cos i faced same issue too....
NB: I will write full details of my experience when I'm done........

Thanks.. I have coloured photocopy of my BSc transcript (photocopied it during my MSc). hope that works...

NB: We are waiting for to learn from your experience bro
Re: Nigerian Students In China by Palazo(m): 8:50pm On Dec 18, 2018
No problem bro,as long as you have transcript they will attend to you with statement of result, also make sure when ever you go to ministry of education and foreign affairs go inside don't allow agent to process for you, process it yourself, education authentification is as cheap as #750 for 2 documents and you will get your documents that same day but with an agent it will cost you as from #10000 above and you might get fake seal and signature. Make sure you go early to collect number but they start by 10am (education), foreign affairs starts by 8am till 1pm, they charge #300 per document but agent charge #1000 per document.

To be honest China is not bad and not good but if your target is to study then you will enjoy China. Just make sure you have a reliable sponsor because working here is illegal. Someone can easily get arrested and deported for just teaching English

I have been a silent reader on this thread, I finally got to Shenyang yesterday. I would love to share my timeline.

1 oct. : Admission documents arrived from China. I have to go pick up my letter personally from dhl office when they refuse to delivered it to my house on time. ( it involves tracking and the rest).

15. Oct. Visa applied for at abuja embassy ( they are more sane than Lagos), I have to take a night bus to and fro.

14. Nov. Interview at Chinese embassy abuja, I wasn't asked anything , my interviewer just confirm the authenticity of my document and account statement which I back up with a reference letter from my sponsors bank.

15 nov. Visa granted.

20. Nov. Visa to be picked up, but I was delayed a day due to the public holiday, till 21 nov before picking up my visa.

27. Nov. Depart MMIA

28. Nov. Arrived at Shenyang.

Thank you

I will update you guys as thing go,
welcome to Shenyang

any monthly stipend above 1000 is more than enough.. provided accomodation is out of it.

You are correct.

My guy that recently went to China confirmed so. But that business is highly encouraged. His school, Tsinghua, has a big office complex dedicated to SMEs in their first year of operation.

it depends on so many factors. It’s cheaper living in the school dormitory. 4200rmb a year is not bad but the living conditions is not the best

Is annoying how most Chinese universities asks for application fee of 800rmb which is almost 40k in naira.
