jesusjnr:And how is that a prophecy? When you are done checking the semantic meaning of "prophecy" come back and say something reasonable (no offence)... Not that ui believe in prophecies. |

00Godwin:If there is another kind of prophecy you seek, well you are in the wrong place, because I can't lie and say something which God had not commanded to say, but I can prophesy about things that are bound to happen, when people think the otherwise. Such as "the wicked shall not see God", now can I get an amen from you? Thought so.

jesusjnr:First, the thing is I do not believe in prophecies. Second, I don't think 1+1=2 is a prophecy. We all know the answer to that math. No one needs a divine inspiration to know that. Thirdly, I can only say "Amen" if I believe the one who answers it exists ----unfortunately, I don't. And the kind of prophecy I think you are talking about is of the first definition in your phone's dictionary, or am I wrong? |

00Godwin:Oh after placing the different definitions to choose from, the one you decided to pick for me is the one that would make me to be wrong eh! Maybe I should have just provided that one for you so that you'd be proud of your self. Prophecies could be hinged on the obvious truth which is being denied or ignored by many, which this is. Now you know! |

jesusjnr:Does this sound like a prophesy to you? Your "prophesy" is ambiguous. A true prophesy should never be ambiguous. It should be clear so that the hearer can understand it. For instance, your prophesy is not specific about "change". Change can be positive or negative. You can change for good or become bad. So, is your prophesy admonishing bad people to change to good people and that good people should change to bad people ![]() |

BluntBoy:Maybe you are the one that's not clear on the very clear prophecy. For if someone is bad, and doesn't change, he would remain the same in the new year, and the same goes for the good ones. So it's very clear in the respect of the intention. |
| Re: My Unbeatable Prophecy For All Nairalanders in 2019 by BluntBoy(m): 11:35am On Dec 31, 2018 |
jesusjnr:It is still ambiguous. Supposing someone is a killer. Your prophesy proclaims that if he doesn't stop killing, he will continue to kill. And supposing the killer is wealthy. If he doesn't change, he will remain the same (still wealthy). There is just too much wrong with your "prophesy". |
| Re: My Unbeatable Prophecy For All Nairalanders in 2019 by Nobody: 12:01pm On Dec 31, 2018 |
BluntBoy:That's exactly my point, for even if the devil doesn't change, he would remain the same in the new year. The point is basically nothing actually changes in someone unless they change, because that's the only real change that occurs to anyone. Just maybe you are unaware of the amount of people that expect changes to just come with the crossover night, without them actually changing, so this is just to remind them of the obvious truth. And moreover I didn't say thus say the Lord, so don't take this prophecy too seriously, but just see it as a joke with an underlying message of truth in it, even though it appears not funny to you. ![]() Thanks anyway for your concern because I think your username sounds positively familiar with me. God be with you. |
