So yesterday, yours faithfully prepared the new year’s rice and stew. After inviting friends and making mouth with my cooking skills.

After all the brouhaha, rice was prepared, then stew was on fire, the aroma disturbing the neighborhood. I had to open my kitchen window very wide open make the aroma for travel far.

Then the devil stopped to say HI. I had no idea what took me away from the kitchen and I forgot stew was on fire (work of the devil)

After several minutes, could be more than an hour sef. I stroll reach kitchen before I remembered I was cooking before. Lol.

Brethren, the stew still had the groundnut oil inside, but everything else was black. Not black but dark. Fear catch me when I saw my stew being screwed.

I took photos of it but I’m too embarrassed to post it here (For self esteem reasons).

If you know you don’t know how to boil water to make tea talkmore of frying stew. Please and please, you don’t have a say here.

Has this ever happened you?

That's why I never leave the kitchen whenever I'm cooking.

Don't know how my mom does it.

One day i came back from school very hungry and decided to prepare rice and beans.
While the beans was on the fire ,i went to my bed just wanted to rest my head and behold it was the smell of something burning that woke me up (and i didn't know, i had slept so far that i was even dreaming and inside the dream i was the one screaming at others that something was burning in the hostel)
I woke up, rushed to the kitchen expecting to see everything all black but as God would have it, he saved me and my beans on time (not completely burnt)

Now it was time for the rice, my bed was still drawing me, sleep was calling me ,my eyes heavy but i was hungry.but this time i didn't give in. I sat on the floor of my kitchen until the food was ready, ate there and after all this the crazy sleep has gone far from me, couldn't even believe i was feeling sleepy few minutes or hours again.

And before this i have been thinking and once dreamt my hostel was on fire from gas explosion and the only thing i managed to save was my incredentials and we were all looking homeless.(my experience o)
So please let's all learn.
