abeg don't mention ozil, he has been fit all season yet he plays shitty football, beside that benatia deal is not going to work because juventus are not interested in signing Ramsey this January, and what if another team snap up carrasco from us ? you know nowadays to find a 25 year old quality winger that cheap is almost impossible now that average players are being sold for ridiculous amount just because they are young

that was one of the reason I dislike arsenal in Wenger days, he sees an opportunity to snap a cheap quality player, but he will drag and drag until another team will sign that player up, and then he will panic and buy one shityy average player for a ridiculous amount

same way we could have lost torriera if another team showed interest

and for the record, James is a Madrid player and not bayern
lets wait and see if its wengay or the stupid owner

so arsenal can not cough out £20 million to sign Denis Suarez, in this era where an average player can cost you up to £50million

thank God that Wenger is no more, if not, the whole world would have call him a stingy coach, not knowing that he tried his best to compete with other big spending clubs with the limited funds he got from the board
I think its high time we came to the realization we are no more a big club, and also destined to be wallowing around 4th/5th position for at least the next 5 years...
If 50€ is too much for D.Suarez and carrasco who I'm sure will make our attack compete at the highest level, then we better call chambers, nelson and wait for ozil and welbeck again angry

you can't be so sure we don't have the funds
Humour as it we either manage these players and spend big next summer or vice versa
we dont need 67m player for now.
we can get suarez and carrasco for 50m combine and give bayern 7m for james(loan) with option to buy in the summer
collect the swap deal of bennatia and ramsey, if we need cahill too on loan
plus most of our players are back ozil, bellerin, kos, monreal, mustafi and mavopanos
I've been screaming for wingers or players with ability to drive the ball forward, dribble, run at opposition and fearless, I see this traits in yanick and Suarez and my Arsenal are delaying the deal for city and Chelsea to hijack, that's how we missed Kante and wanyama for xhaka,it still hurts till date..
Its better we stop dreaming and admit we are gona languish in 5th/ 6th for long..

City and l.pool invested over 100M in mahrez, larpote and Van dijk/ Alison respectively, and we think we can compete struggling to cough out 50 for 2 good players who can move us up.

the problem with arsenal since the days of Wenger is that they will refuse to sell an unhappy player that top clubs are ready to break the bank for

they will allow the player to continue playing for us eventho he's not happy with the team, and when he reaches the end of his contract, we will either sell him for a cut price or allow him go for free

But the window hasn't closed yet. Why are you sounding so negative. At least wait until they actually lose out on those transfers before giving up. It's barely 10 days in the window and literally no major club in Europe has brought in anyone.

It has to be said that (some) Arsenal fans (here) are really a negative bunch. I mean if you visit the Chelsea thread and then come over here you'll find it hard to believe three points separate both clubs. It almost feels like Chelsea are slugging it out with city and pool for the title while Arsenal are battling fulham and Cardiff to avoid relegation.

Even if we eventually get the duo,the fact remains we lack urgency both on and off the pitch, they could have been hijacked, we have seen so many of such happening over and over every window...
Even spurs wrap deal up asap..

I'm not confident of us getting it done, most major clubs in Europe do not have defects to address like us.

Anyways let's wait and see then.

bro When did you start following Arsenal and EPL games? As much as o hate to say it,Chelsea are a more ambitious and proactive fc than us both on and off the pitch, you should know Chelsea can cough out any amount to get a good fabregas( Suarez) replacement and Morata/ Giroud (Dzeko/higuain)..
Chelsea fans don't see us as much threat because they know how to address issues and force out good results while we can't.

there is nothing wrong with accepting reality, we are too slow when it comes to transfer.
wengay missed out on loads of players to our opponents, chelsea and scummies may hijack suarez and carrasco if we delay.
we get players who prefer us or london not the players we wanted. auba, xhaka, ozil all left their clubs and accepted us cos we the only one interested.
sanchez wanted us ahead of lfc cos he preferred london, imagine chelsea competed with us do you think we will get him

I've been supporting Arsenal for long; when I started following European football. Arsenal was my first love. I've also endured the pains of many transfer windows like most Arsenal fans. However the back room team responsible for those fuckck ups (Gazidis and his guys) are no longer at the club. A new team is on ground, Mislintat and Sanllehi, and if the last transfer window is anything to go by they seem to know what they are doing. I mean they came in and identified that the team needs a DM which they quickly got (Wenger turned a blind eye to that for years). They are working hard to let go of many dead woods and have identified that the team needs a winger which they are trying to get in.

My point is the new guys at the club seem to have a plan and are at least making effort to fix obvious deficiencies.

All this negativity aren't necessary, at least for now.

Why do you want Chelsea fans to see you as a threat? Chelsea is just 3 points ahead of Arsenal despite Arsenal playing the last few games with a make shift backline. They are yet to visit the Etihad, Emirates, Anfield and Old Trafford. Fact is Arsenal are still very much in the fight for top four along with Man Utd. You really don't need to convince fans of other clubs to see that.

It is more pessimism than reality.

Reality on ground is Arsenal have identified the need for a winger and are working hard to get one or two. This is not FIFA. Transfers are complicated and many terms must be met before they go through. If you look around, you'll hardly find a major club that has done one so far.

Being negative even though there is still a whole 20 days before the window closes is just pessimism.

just yesterday westham sent a £20 million bid to Barcelona for Suarez, but he rejected the deal because of emery,

big teams nowadays don't spend weeks speculating, a serious club uses less than 6 days to get a player they 'desperately' need because they know that missing out on that player can affect their campaign

even the aubameyang deal was a miracle because Chelsea and other teams could have snap him up if they wanted to

Baba face the fact, I already set 4 transfer windows for the management to recruit the right players to take us to a team challenging for both PL and UCL, failure to get it done means I'm done from this 5/6 th placed FC giving me psychological and emotional torture..
See how we are staggering to get Suarez and carrasco. I fear hijacking and I can't bear another kante, wanyama scenario again.

If you ask me, Can we recall Reiss Nelson and Calum Chambers, I don't know if Belik is on loan too. this players are good for rotation. Belik is a defender and a defensive Midfielder, what the team need is back ups. with Denis joining too. we can lay claim to a fourth place and who knows an Europa. football is business, if the board says no money to buy then nothing can be done

.....Nelson is developing well at his German club but he is far from the finished product and certainly not ready for the EPL.....He barely starts for the club more like a super sub so recalling him is out of it.....
....Belik is doing well at the league two club he is but he should stay there and continue his development...dude is not ready.... Chambers has played defensive midfield than centre back for Fulham lately and in that position....we have better players playing there...if Chambers couldn't get a place in Arsenal and in Fulham of all clubs, then he shouldn't be recalled....
.....All our defenders are back from injury...w now have a wealth of players to choose from in that position....Dinos is back and I for one is eager to see him play....the hype that he is as good as Holdini is getting too much.
....I am certain we will get better center backs during the summer when we must have cleared some players with massive wages off our books because we have a wage bill of 232m, that's one of the highest in the league and unfortunately, we are paying shitty players such ridiculous wages which is all Gazidiz's fault and since we are a self-sustaining club as our owner barely spends, it means people have to go before new ones can come in permanently.... until then, we can only get loan deals just as Emery said.... getting Suarez and Banega whom we have already bidded for will be a good winter window...

Guys, only loan deals

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46827324

Arsenal manager Unai Emery says the Gunners can only afford loan signings in January

I respect his decision - Emery on Ramsey future
Arsenal can only afford to loan players during the January transfer window and cannot make permanent signings, says manager Unai Emery.
The Gunners, who signed five first-team players in the summer window, have been strongly linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez .
"I don't know now his [Suarez's] situation but we can only sign on a loan," Emery said.

"We cannot sign permanently. We can only loan players."

Arsenal spent around £70m on four players last summer - Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis and Bernd Leno with Stephan Lichtsteiner also arriving on a free transfer - and
signed striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a club record £56m in January 2018.
