It's like saying that, "Policemen of the Lagos State Police Command arrested a pick pocket" and someone then says that the statement means that all the policemen in Lagos arrested the pick pocket. grin

This revelation by you now heightens the shame because instead if the 145 soldiers posited erroneously by ikechu12, we are seeing that a battalion consists of even more soldiers of up to 300-800 all killing a meager 5 terrorists. I am not undermining their efforts but this is like celebrating mediocrity.

Sometimes I just wonder why the police, Army or Navy destroy seized weapons?
Can't they add it to the armoury?
Or is it against the law?

There are jaaz/voodoo in those weapons which may work against them is not properly liberated.
Some have monitoring spirit that will keep sending signals where the new user is.

An intelligent person can see that 5 people can not carry all the arms shown in that picture.

And to assume 145 Battalion means 145 soldiers, Bro u need a brain transplant.

Let’s know your motives for calling Nigerian Military the weakest on earth ?

Even America is yet to defeat Taliban, Al Quaida or ISIS.

War against terrorism is not the fictional movies u watch.

U lack knowledge abt the military, does 145 Bn in any way related to 145 boys? Perhaps, who told you they are jst 5 BH in numbers as u claimed? Atleast come to northeast, let them put you in a vehicle and give u cover whenever attack is going on if your BP wont rise to 200/110, u will only pass out, u wont live to tell pple the story. We already knw pple like you, Enemy of progress.

this is a life line for this government to build on and annihilate this terrorist once and for all. a wise people oriented government can mine this opportunity by rearming our boys and bringing new tactics and strategies that will completely destroy this insurgents and boost our boys moral. the should bring in more weapons and military personnels from the unnecessary python dance, in order to make this bokoharam war a history.

Nigerian politics is really cool

Do people like you ever celebrate good news no matter how small?
keep your assemblage and allow Nigerians savor the joyous accomplishments of our gallant soldiers.
This is good even if its but for a moment.

the real problem is internal sabotage and lackadaisical attitude towards prosecution of the war
1) inadequate ammunition for weapons. 2) lack of maintenance for available armaments, due mainly because skilled personnels are not adequately motivated and funded. 3) training personnels are not adequately funded and upgraded. 4) nepotism in promoting officers, instead of by achievement. 5) politicians, general and Commanders are using the war as an excuse to loot the nation dry.

145 Battalion refers to the name of the unit, not the number of troops.

E.g. There's 1 Division, Nigerian Army (with headquarters in Kaduna). It doesn't mean there's only one soldier in the division.

You really did have time to educate dumb IPOB apologists like @Ikechu12 and @jayson87 whose only joy in life is to wish Nigeria evil.
