The results of the Mercer 2018 report demonstrate economic vitality in many regions of Africa.

This report is very useful for expatriate profiles or members of the Diaspora wishing to return to Africa, and includes 44 african cities in a global ranking that includes 231 cities worldwide.

Analyzing data collected in November 2017, Mercer experts, specializing in business consulting, have developed several criteria to measure the quality of life in different cities: entertainment, educational and educational facilities, housing or transport services or the natural environment.

5 African cities in the world top 100
In the world top 100 best cities for quality of life, Africa has 5 cities. Port-Louis (Mauritius) is the most pleasant city on the African continent, with a good natural climate, access to care, security, stable socio-political environment and economic dynamism. Nairobi has it's own issues.Traffic jams & constant water shortages are the big ones. They are being sorted out. The city was also previously choking with garbage - but after ban on polythenic bags and new governors - the problem is going away.
