I've done some things for him earlier especially immediately after his sudden death. He came in the dream some time ago and showed a document his mum was searching for weeks at their house. I went to their house that morning, got inside his room and brought out the documents from where he hid them exactly the place he showed me in the dream.

Recently, it's about a lady I don't even know and haven't met. In the dream, he had her as girlfriend and was about to propose. When the time came for that, I suddenly couldn't see him near me so I proposed to the girl on his behalf giving her a reason that my friend was shy.(I mean who does such) It was just real and he later showed up and started laughing sheepishly.

There is no connection between the dead and living.

You need to pray against it or else you may likely join him (God forbids) because like poles attracts.

The dead can't come to life again but the living can join the dead.

First of all, ill advice you to pray, ask God for answers there is nothing to hard for him to answer. And even, now being a representative of God, I answer hard questions and I'll give you your answer.
My dear friend, there would have been something you promised your friend to achieve when you guys ha been little and you haven't fulfilled it. Do that, before you find rest. Perhaps apsirations, you both had in the future. You seem to have forgotten it, that's why his always putting you to remeberance in your dream.
Relieve that promise or plea you had made with him a long time ago and fulfill it.
And lastly, pray, pray pray, pray and pray....God would give you the directions. God in heaven would make you remember and give you the directions for you to attain it.

understanding spirit or dreaming about that person that died long ago is not something u should be discussing with everyone or any one, u did dy right thing telling the mother an u should equally know that he can't hurt u, all u need to do is create a platform to understand yur best friend, it might not sound normal but don't be afraid of somebody u called yur best friend because he/she is now death.
no one will help u, rather dy will lie an keep lying to u. He is trying to tell u something, or preventing something from happening etc for that to happen u must first position, think, focus an be realistic and u shall find what u seek.
