it was a compliment toward her, but it wasn't a compliment toward her husband. That's what i'm trying to say, that compliment is disrespectful toward her husband. You don't disrespect someone's partner and say you are complimenting them, you have to respect them both as a Couple. if he really meant Adekunle Gold is lucky he should have commented "Adekunle Gold is very lucky to have you" very simple and also a powerful compliment at the same time and i'm very sure she would have reacted differently, if he really respect her as a Married woman he wouldn't have twisted the compliment in his favour in the compliment he stated it like he is great romantically more than her husband which could have been opposite for all i Know. He twisted it in his favour and it was like self-praising and like he is great romantically more than Her Husband so much that if they had dated she wouldn't have any option than to marry her, which sound very disrespectful toward her husband. If he respect her as a Married woman and respect her husband he should have said "Your Husband is lucky to have you and you are a great woman" You compliment them both as a couple not something like "i wish i meet you first" no that's total bullshit, he was praising himself in that comment like he is very great romantically that she wouldn't have the option other than to just settle down with him but for all i know it could have been the opposite, and it sounded like Adekunle Gold wouldn't be that greater than him in Romance. That compliment lack honesty and Respect toward her and her husband and he was also self-praising himself like he is that great in Romance for Simi not to have other option other than to just settle with him after she meet him and there was no way Adekunle Gold could have been better than him in that aspects, it was total bullshits
