The family of the late Emiile of Imesi Ile, Chief Michael Olabamiji Fakeye, did something unconventional, recently, before he was finally laid to rest in Osun State.
.
.
His corpse was dressed in his chieftaincy attire and made to stand upright, before many family members were asked to pose with him for pictures.
.

O boi...see my hometown for news on nairaland....buh I no sabi d man
.
The step was taken because his children realized that they had no personal pictures with him while alive.

How come he still looks more lively than me the president of Nigeria. I don't know the kind of technology that was used in making him lively.

That family must be probed.

Wrong notion. It easily happens.
At times we take some things for granted. Always postponing it. I can tell you many have no pics with their dad. Most will have with their mums only.

We have many pics with dad but not everyone does.

This shows we shouldn't take things for granted.

Your end will be terrible. Wishing someone dead cos of politics shows you are being pushed by spiritual forces so you can earn a curse.

Your end will be terrible for playing politics with human life.

Not really a new thing nor an absurd idea.
Post-mortem Photography was used long ago even in the Victorian Era to capture moments with the dead.

You can Google it and see some bizarre and more graphic ones done back in the days.

Correct.
Deathbed pictures basically replaced the deathbed sculpture put on top of the tombs of prominent people, that used to be done before photography was invented.
