Good afternoon mamas, I have always postponed posting but have been following with my main account. Been TTC for about a year now, got married 2017 but wanted to wait a little to enjoy marital life a bit and also finish my masters program. I took the 3 months injectables just once and didn't take any other thing to prevent pregnancy. The doctor assured me that once I am off it, I would easily take in. But it gave me a lot of issues, I spotted almost all through the 3 months of its validity. So DH decided it wasn't a good idea. We weren't actively trying until may 2018 when I did a weight loss program, I felt somehow in my system and I took a HPT, I had a second faint line and the joy I felt made me realize I wanted a baby and not just enjoying marital life. I also did a blood test and they said it was faint too. This was about 5 days before the end of that cycle so I was advised to wait until I missed my period. Unfortunately, AF showed as and at when due  , I can't really explain it Sha but I have actively trying since then yet no show. I keep blaming myself for taking those injectables. I don't even know what to do. I stay in a semi urban area and there are no fertility clinics except I go to the next town. I don't even know what tests I should take first. VITAMINS TO AID CONCEPTION.
Just to clarify, you can take B6 up to 500 mgs to help produce progesterone in the 2WW, but it's meant to be a short term thing, because B6 can cause nerve damage, which is apparently reversible. If you are going to increase your B6 from 50/100 mgs per day, make sure firstly, that you are supplementing with some B12 (to avoid B12 anemia/deficiency) and secondly, that the increase is only for the SHORT term! For example, you wouldn't be on 500 mgs for months on end, just every so often, for example, with your treatment cycle.
Multi vitamins:
These can be great, but can contain Vitamin A which is a no no. You may be wondering why you should take all these things separately and not just settle for a multi vit? The answer is simple; a multi vit could not contain all of these things in the quantity you need. It is a bit of a bind and time-consuming sourcing all these separate supplements, but the extra time invested is worth it for the desired result. Imagine, a lot of people out there take a multi-vit anyway and they are not trying to get pregnant like you. Multi vits have the basic RDA as recommended for people NOT trying to conceive. People with fertility issues need to have a 'boost' more than a multi-vit can provide in MHO.
Most vitamins, ESPECIALLY B-vitamins are WATER SOLUBLE and therefore your body will get rid of what it doesn't need via your urine! Don't dwell on the figures too much, ie: 1MG, 1.5MG... know that you are TAKING ALL AT OPTIMUM levels and the rest your body will disperse with .

Thanks for ur contribution dearies. But, I don't really think I can ovulate before seeing ewcm. Thought ovulation comes after or during ewcm days. I first noticed it on CD13.
You cant be so sure oo because ovulation syptoms can be tricky at times but i learnt that calculation from my doctor

Don't know if it would be effective for a case as yours cause you might need something else to combine to make it more effective. Pls work with your doctor! |

It is well with you dear.
