Have you ever seen Karma at work? Please share your stories.

Today I just received news that I've been waiting for, for over a decade. But I'll save that for last.

In 1997, my biological father passed away from complications related to diabetes. He left a lot of money. He was a businessman, who ran his bar singlehandedly, until shortly before his passing. Anyway, there were even more complications to follow: he didn't leave a will. So about two weeks after his funeral we were summoned to court, myself, my 3 other siblings & our mothers. My father was survived by an older brother. All his other siblings were long gone. My uncle was appointed by the court to divide the money, equally, between us (the children). Long story short, I never got a cent! I'm not sure if he gave the two children from my father's 1st marriage anything, but a huge lump sum of the money went to him. He went on a shopping spree & spoiled his own family with gifts. He opened his own business, a supermarket. However, he didn't live long enough to enjoy the fruits of his deceit. He died 6 months later from a brain tumour. I felt justice was served!

Now back to the news from the beginning of my post. I have one sibling on my mother's side. She's 15 years older. At the end of 1999, I had to go live with her. She has a good paying job, working for the government. When we 1st started living together, she made sure that my future was secured. She got me an education plan, which would have paid for all my university expenses. When I was in grade 11 she had her 1st child & everything changed. I don't wanna go into it, but she removed my name from the education plan. Her child was the sole beneficiary. Naturally, I was heartbroken. I cried over it for years. Now the child is all grown. She's so close to getting everything that was taken from me. But life has other plans by the sound of it, because I just heard that she dropped out of school & is refusing to go back to school. I should be celebrating, but I'm not. The only thing "sweeting" me is, her mother finally got her visit from Karma after everything she's put me through. I was good & yet she treated me like garbage. She told lies about me & now every lie she ever told is coming back to haunt her through the very child she used as an excuse to treat me like an outsider.

Never take revenge on people. Leave it all to Karma.

My niece is the same age & grade I was when her mother started acting out. That can't be a coincidence. Even she (my sister) is getting the message loud & clear.

Sad story....

I'm just not sure if I believe in Karma because a lot of these rich people got to the top screwing over other people and they keep getting richer and richer. If it's Karma then it's selective when it visits the culprits.I know a lot of people that should have it coming to them a thousands times over but they are still doing fine.

In some cases it takes time. Plus being rich doesn't mean someone is happy. Some end up killing themselves even with millions in the bank.

I don't think i can relate to any experience in my life that boldly screams KARMA IN ACTION though.
At least not yet. I would say karma has a mind of its own and plays by the rules of no man as is evident in most of society. Whatever happens, happens.

Karma will also visit you because you are not a saint either
Re: Justice by dochenaj: 10:43pm On Jan 26, 2019
Well it is no secret that when you sow, you must reap. He that sows the wind will reap the whirlwind thus signifying that there is a multiplying effect when the time to reap comes.

Now this is a natural law, but like all natural laws; they can be hacked. For instance the law of gravity, states that whatever goes up must come down but if it goes up with a certain speed (escape velocity) then it sure ain't coming down.

Some have inadvertently stumbled upon the hack for the law of karma. And are hence immune to their past.

Yeah.. Like Majek fashek sings ..." The wicked people they still prosper inna dis world oh......"

Well, the truth is that the Great divine law never fails. It is very wise and know at the exact moment and through what circumstance to pay karma to the one who owes and darhma to the one who is owed.

True DAT. I have direct experience of dharma and karma. I concurr with your write up. Karma is real @ 100%.
It is a universal law that balances our accounts.. Pays us for our good and bad actions. It is the same as the law of sowing and reaping in the bible.
Karma is the law of cause and effect. That to every cause there is a corresponding effect and to every effect there is a root cause. Karma, though, isn't a mechanical law, it isn't like a fixed thing cos beside justice there is always mercy and divine forgiveness. I like to think when there is true repentance, there is total forgiveness and mercy and as such no need for karma.

In esoteric literature, they say something of karma, they say, we do not have to pay always with pain and suffering for the eveil we did, but we can act wise and pay with good works and repentance, thereby avoiding the deep pain and suffering that awaits us.
