Yes the early society started as patriarchal system due to men physical strength to hunt and fight which became a culture, then religion came with same patriarchal system to tame women.

We have all-female worriors in the past, the Dahomey Amazons for example.This shows women can be worriors but many society didn't give that chance to women.

Now if cultures and religion can be scrapped or amended, reorientate our girls and boys, then patriarchy will fade off! We are now in advanced society where we have science, technology and education, we have allot of women performing well in this field, we now see women going for political post, if this reorientation persists then patriarchy will fade off but as long as religion and culture(which are social myths) keep used to indoctrinate little girls to see men as superior then nothing will change, and funniest thing is it seems many girls are enjoying the patriarchy thing, they took advantage of it.

Eg In Igbo culture and most cultures around the world, male children are more valuable than female children due to a number of reasons and it's quite unbelievable that it's the same women who are victims of this practice that enforce it.

This women will taunt and mock their fellow women for not having a male child, they even go as far as saying ''When you start giving birth to boys that is when you know you have children'' am not saying that having male kids is not important but you can't belittle female kids too cuz they have important roles to play in the family.

Regardless of everyone wanting equality, only a minute few women are innately okay with the fact that they make more than their men. Natural hypergamy is the woman's adaptation to biological limitations imposed upon her. He would have to make up for it by being extra good at something else she can't get anywhere else...whereas it would be perfectly okay if the roles were switched. The woman's tendency towards hypergamy is what created this "patriarchy" you speak of, because without this "patriarchy"...in the presence of innate hypergamy...neither you or I would exist today.

Men and women are physically different.
Take the strongest woman in the world (of any ethnicity) and she will never be stronger than the strongest man in the world.

Everyone had to try to be a warrior back then, including all-women settlements, but the world would be ruled by amazons if they were any good at it. IJS. Physicality is an arena of men.

Life becomes easier when you accept your difference to the next person and work with the strength you have. That's what girls did. There is no male-induced "patriarchy". It is simply an adaptation to nature. If shit goes down today, these same women will forget equality and expect to be treated with ye olde "Women and children first!". The Dahomey Amazons which are all-female worriors defeated their neighboring tribe in wars. At some point in time the female military was stopped. Imagine if all societies are having a large of female worriors?

These are all social myths. The society has indoctrinated young boys and girls to follow this myths.

This is 21 century where we have technology, science and education, physical strength is not that needed, the patriarchy system can fade off in the future if we keep on enlighten ourselves. The only reason we still have patriarchy today is because of religions and cultures.

If you read history how women were oppressed in the past you won't make this statement. Some group of women who were said to be the first set of feminists fought for women's right which many women are enjoying today. Women can't even vote in the past!
