dude's no where near ok financially. These celebs always using politics as their back up plan. 9ice didn't succeed coz his ppl could see right through his lies. People don't trust them. Just like someone like 2face coming out for a position tomorrow, he will be lucky to get 80votes and we both know why. Hmmmm, I thought I was d only person seeing it tru his eyes, u never had d dream to rule d ur community right from d onset of ur music carrer, even ur songs does not convey such an interest,then out of d blues u want to become a member of politics,

I told someone yesterday if u want to patake in politics in nigeria very easy start from ur community (ur street, ur area, ) give them solar light, stead borehole water, and move to d next street, I bet u people will come begging u to join d seat first as a lga chairman, u will not waste a dime even buying ticket, just b patriotic as a citizen,create waste basket at every 100 feet in ur street let's see if people will not beg u ,u wouldn't need to beg for vote,

I agree with your last two statements BUT, I'm also glad we're getting involved as required. If we need a revolution, it starts from these sorts of activities (like the debate) where the incompetent candidates with 'god-fathers' are exposed.

Mrs Tessy Owolabi of the SDP tried her best but it seemed to me that she was appealing to our empathy for votes simply because she's a woman. She's a woman ,Yes but that doesn't make her the best fit for the position. All in all , she managed a good outing . 6/10
Ferdinand Adimefe of the ANN was very superb. His speaking prowress was second to none , maybe Banky Sha. You could sense that he's very passionate about the position he's running for. I would give him a 8/10
Olubankole Wellington of the MDP as we all know is quite good. His speaking prowress is on the the same level as that of Adimefe and he did quite a lot of research. I would give him 8/10
The biggest surprise here is Jide Obanikoro of the APC. I didn't know dude was this good. Though he's not as good in speaking compared to Fedinard and Banky , but he's an Intellectual storehouse when it comes to Politics of Eti-Osa as shown throughout the Debate and especially the closing remark. He had answers to every question and his closing remark all but soldified his position as a front runner in this Elections. 8/10
By Extension, judging from the Debate, the Frontkiners are candidates of the APC, ANN and MDP.
However, considering party structure and years of successive Governance, the PDP and APC candidates are leading the pack.
My money is on Obanikoro. Dude has been running since 2011 and he's well known. It appears he has been properly groomed by his "Godfathers" on how Politics is won and lost in the state. Running on the Platform of the APC is a Turbo boost to his ambition.

Are you sure you actually watched the same debate everyone else watched? Or You're just a reflection of our poor education system? You must be one of the several gullible Nigerians out there. Jide Obanikoro was the worst candidate out there. All he kept doing was mentioning names of all the geographical suburbs in Eti-Osa (If that's your yard stick for being knowledgeable then, I see why Nigeria is lagging behind).

Jide could barely effectively complete / conjure a single meaningful statement while, all of his answers lack objectiveness and clarity! All he did was mumbling and referring to himself as the most experienced candidate. Most experienced as in what levels or parameters? He's NEVER held any gov't public office yet, he regarded himself as the most experience. I'm even surprised no one called him out on that (shows how these politicians take us all for a ride).

Anyway, I shouldn't be appalled someone like you came out here to type this... It just shows the rot and low quality-level within our system.
