The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kogi state said the commission had started withdrawing all sensitive election materials issued out earlier for the 2019 general elections scheduled to hold today but was postponed by a week.

Ahmed Biambo, the INEC Director of Voter Education and Publicity in Kogi state, who disclosed this to newsmen in Lokoja on Saturday said that the materials were being returned back to all the local government offices of INEC.

"Further directive was being awaited on whether to return the sensitive materials to the Central Bank of Nigeria or to the police armory for safe keeping," he said.

According to Mr. Biambo, the office has also ordered immediate transportation of all the ad hoc staff, especially National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members back to their bases.

"The office did not receive ballot papers for the Kogi East senatorial election until about 2am when the election was suddenly postponed," he said.

The election is tainted and compromised already. The election materials are in the hands of politicians already. The election is a sham before it begins.

INEC failed the people. It's national embarrassment.

INEC 'Osun Template' Busted by the US

Nigerians should be grateful to the United States for saving our democracy today. This is why the party in power got frustrated about the international communities interference at one point and threatened “body bags” because they know, “Americans would know”.

We are a sovereign state, agreed, but there was nothing Nigerians would have done tonight to prevent Mohammadu Buhari from rigging this election if not for the intervention of the US.

The Buhari government in collaboration with INEC had an agenda on how to rig the election in favor of Buhari. This was what they were planning to execute tonight with the postponement drama when the United States govt got a wind of it and called the INEC Chairman not to dare!

Their Plan...

The strategy was to allow elections hold in 26 states and postpone it in 10 states. For the ten states, they had two plans; late arrival of election materials and security crisis.

The idea was to deliberately allow materials arrive late as we are already witnessing in some states and INEC would have no option but to postpone elections in those states. For instance, the aircraft that was supposed to deliver materials to Enugu was told it can't land because of bad weather conditions and it had to land in Port Harcourt. Right before us, elections in Enugu would have been postponed.

The crisis template was executed in Kaduna today. The news of Kaduna State killings of 66 people today was part of the plan to create an atmosphere of catastrophic so that INEC would postpone the election in Kaduna State citing security challenges. The news of the killings was fabricated and sponsored by the 3 inches 'body bag' Governor of that state.

For the 26 states that election would have held, the plan was to watch out for the outcome. If it favours Atiku, whatever the margin is, they would deploy heavy security agents to ensure they get enough votes to cover up the margin in the 10 states that elections were to be postponed as they did in Osun state.

With this plan, Buhari would be elected back as president… but the US said, NO!! Elections across the 36 states must hold simultaneously, they insist.

INCASE you never know, this election have been compromised already. The election equipment, ballot and white papers which have been released to both the politicians thru ad-hoc staffs and our corrupt security personnel for commercial purpose(in exchange for money) :thesame materials they will only bring back next Saturday to submit. After they must ve thumbprint since yesterday. I also, had from reliable source that people have started thumbprinting since yesterday, at places like ikorodu, kano and many other places. Is it thesame government, APC BUHARI PARTY, that will take us to the promise land?.even i could remember vividly that all the elections they did edo state , river state, ekiti state, osun state and ondo state at a different date were also in total disarray and chaos just like this. APC are just group of clueless human beings that have nothing to offer nigerians but want to remain in power for the sake of financial gain.

Something fishy.
I'll advice party agents to video record the results at each wards as being announced by presiding officers. I no longer trust INEC and APC. You want to recall something that ought to be at each states CBN office?

This is a joke. You mean after they have been in the hands of professional riggers. Nigerians would need to guard their votes and make sure it is well counted, and posted correctly.

There Is No Doubt That Inec Had Already Planned As Early As Friday Morning To Postpone The Election. I Got To The Inec Office In Awka By 2pm Yesterday And Unlike The Previous Guber- And Senatorial Elections, There Were No Security Officials At The Office. Only A Mammoth Crowd Of Ad-hoc Officials. Even As At 5pm At The Inec Office In Anaocha Lga, No Security. By 7pm When We Got To The Rac, No Security. Sensitive Materials Arrived By 9pm Without Security Officials. Doesn't That Mean That The Security Agents (Police, Frsc Et Al) Weren't Mobilized Cos They (Ogas At The Top) Had Already Been Briefed About The Postponement? I'd Say That The Postponement Was Already Concluded. The Rest --Meetings Inclusive, Were Just Formalities.

The only thing right now that can make the election be credible is to print new ballot papers, removed all the presidential candidates that has endorsed atiku or Buhari, that will leave us with few left and a totally different looking ballot...

With profound respect!
where exactly are you getting your information from?
Inec has the statutory responsible to conduct elections in Nigeria with out any form of interference what so ever so you now saying the decision to postpone the election was informed by the American government is laughable.
It will interest you to know that Inec had already mobilized all sensitive and non sensitive materials to the state Cbn branches for adequate security. These electoral materials will now be escorted from the cbn to the Inec state level with heavy security to be allocated to the different SPOs then subsequently excorted to the various ward levels/pulling units. But because of the desperation of Nigerian politicians the election was compromised. Some of the sensitive materials for the election materials are in the hands of politicians already before it was brought to the Inec state level. So Inec got this information had to go into an emergency meeting and the election was postponed! So the question we should ask our self is who are these rogue elements within the Inec that colluded with politicians for the remaining missing sensitive materials because as at yesterday in some Inec office at the state level, some sensitive materials were missing at the point of allocating to the different SPOs like the ballot papers for president and result sheets. So somebody somewhere probably orchestrated the romoval of the other sensitive materials from the Inec national headquarters to the state cbn offices

It is a national embarrassment
