Those are one of the many failures of Atiku.

He sold NEPA, Nitel, and Nigerian Airways... and they failed to pay the pension of many of these folks.

He has vowed to sell NNPC too.

I am surprised lots of Nigerians are even considering voting in this guy.

You don’t do the same thing over and expect different results.

Sowore all the way.

You just feel like talking gibberish , right?

If you do not know the history behind Nigeria Airways, it's best you keep shut and not come out in public to mess yourself and your education up.

Haba!
Don't shoot yourself in the leg because of politics. It's as good as committing suicide.

Exactly same thing we are going thru in m family right now. My uncle, although late(died last year JULY) his pension still hasn't been paid to his children. My cousin is currently in Abuja waiting and hoping that this payment be made.

Person wey no know no go know. People at home will think that every pensioner has been paid when in real fact that only few of these pensioners has actually be paid.

When will this Buhari government get things right! Buhari with his integrity and honesty persona is all faux. That man is a fraud!

Some times, the problem is not the government but the people....

Why will the government release money and some crooks be holding it? This country and most individual in it are naturally corrupt!

Thank God you said 10yrs ago, PMB has done his work and maybe the people in charge are the ones delaying the payment and the President might not be aware, I know some old people smiling now and praising PMB everywhere they go.

The youths that keep politicizing this atrocities are the real problem with Nigeria. We need to start asking serious questions.

When the government announced payment of Nigerian airways pensioners September last year, we were all very happy and relieved as their last payment was over 10years ago. Verifications started in October and my father finished his on the 24th of October, credit alerts started coming in in November but my father never got any. In December he got less than a 100K which was his supplementary payment and till now, his main money hasn't come in. He has called and visited their offices plenty times and it has been one thing or the other. They did say it wasn't a verification issue though.

After weeks of back and forth, he had to go to Abuja two days ago, please note that we live in Lagos and this is an elderly man. With no real reason, it now seems like some people have messed with the money and hope that he gets tired and gives up. He is not the only one affected, from what i heard they are about a hundred and some have gotten tired and resigned themselves to fate, these people are old people that have worked for this money, it is bad enough that the payment took over ten years to be paid, now imagine your colleagues spending their money while you look on

He is still in Abuja and making no head way, this isn't right, we do not know what to do again

@lalasticlala
mind you they are over 50,000 in numbers, the ordinary President have confirmed it.

Blame the PDP that did nothing for 16 years for the payment of your father's money and not BUHARI who even paid part of it according to your own admission.
Remember OBJ/Atiku was in power then when PDP refused to pay them initially. So know where to direct your frustration.

Pray Buhari wins. If he doesn't, money meant to pay your father will enter Saraki, Dino, Gbenga Daniel's pocket. Just pray he wins. At least he got a 100k. He should still be hopeful.

Why not Blame pdp that finally killed Nigeria airways and refused to pay them when they were in power for 16 yeats.

So Atiku is to blame for selling off non producive ventures like Nigeria Airways,, Nitel etc .Those agencies were dead .retaining them would have been money down the drain . Those who bought them can't even resurrect them ..who loose ? Surely not government. If your father's car is knocked and is being used for transport but no money is coming in but you have to pay the driver and also maintain the car won't you sell it off ? Didn't Oshiomole sold off Edo line
As for Sowore , he hasn't prove himself in any way . Let him contest for Lagos governor and wrestle Lagos from the Jagaban first then we know he is ready

As you can see her father falls into the second half, so that same pressure can be applied on his case to get the money.

Smile smiley
I laugh when I see ignorance.. For your information PDP under Yar Adua/GEJ paid these pensioners in FULL. My uncle got paid over #1.3million back in 2009/2010. It's from his pension money he was able to complete his house, bought a BENZ car and lived happily until Buhari came he then died.

So next time come correct with facts before spewing bullshit

Tell him to visit that human rights watch radio station (101.1) there's a high chance his problem will be solved there.

Do not make comment on what you know nothing about. If your family isn't affected by this please I'm begging do not make stupid comment here, else I will curse you.

Do you know what it feels like to be hungry, starving with expectation that the government will pay these pensioners. Yet the government are claiming they have paid all PENSIONERS.

This is sad and heatbreaking..

Atiku sold Nigeria Airways and didn't pay off the pensioners.
Buhari came and ordered the payment, however, it appears some ppl within the system are cheating the pensioners.

If anyone is to be blamed it is Atiku who first stole their money then these ppl who following in his footsteps.

BTW, my father in-law is also a victim; although his case is much better; he has been paid about 75% due to him; while the remaining 25% is another thing

last time i raised an awareness that alot of nigerian airways pensioners have not been paid. most of the people paid were union workers who were not sincere with the claims that alot were stilled owed.
PICA Is not sincere, they paid half and hoping to eat the remaining half. my dad did his verification along time and people who did after him were paid. truth is alot of the nigerian airways pensioners have not been paid
