We all heard the breaking news today of a building in Ita Faaji where the unfortunate incident happen where a 3-storey building collapse that killed and trapped many lives this morning. According Twitter user Adebayo bankole akintunde share "The collapsed Lagos Island building had been marked for demolition & occupants asked to relocate last year.

Months later, the occupants came back, demolition mark erased, someone has been settled.

Now, the building collapsed, killing innocent school pupils."

Our hearts are with the families of parents who lost their children to death in the building collapse. This is a trying period indeed for them .We feel the pains of fatherhood motherhood and parenthood....May God console. and comfort them all and give them the fortitude to bear this unforseen loss.

I lived in UK for some years and what I noticed is that food is very cheap. In fact I was saving my money and buying the cheapest food in the market and still adding 1kg per month to my weight. Fatness is a curse there.
One can die of accident or whatever. But one can never die of hunger. How many hungry oyibo have you ever seen?

Once people's stomach has been settled, then you can place them in positions of responsibility to maintain facilities and services and uphold laws.
