It’s an experience you don’t wish your enemy, the first time I experienced that was in Nigeria around 2000, i pee on my trouser at the sight of a strange face pointing a gun directly at me commanding me to go down. The second was last week in SA when I was almost hijacked, the SA babe driving with me saved me.

Arriving in front of a seaside San Diego motel after a lazy afternoon spent at the beach, I parked my car in the street whilst anticipating a bracing game of "hide the weasel", with the woman I met whilst jogging along the shoreline, when all of a sudden, two police patrol cars swooped in from opposite directions, and screeched to a halt with their blue lights flashing.

Assuming that the police were arriving for some other reason besides myself, I alighted from the car, and was in the midst of pulling on a pair of trousers to cover my running shorts so as to make myself presentable for the motel check-in process, when a loud order was barked out at me : " Put the phucking pants DOWN, and raise your hands, NOW ! "

I complied instantly, allowing the trousers to drop around my ankles, and raising my hands whilst turning around slowly to the direction of the shouted order. I found myself peering down the business end of a huge stainless-steel 44 magnum revolver that was aimed dead center at my cranium by a very agitated police officer. As my puzzled female companion looked on, probably wondering if she had just been saved from entering a motel with a violent wanted criminal, I waited for an explanation as to why I was being held at gunpoint.

Turned out that there had been a liquor store robbery nearby, just moments before I pulled up in front of the motel, and by sheer coincidence, the description of car used by the fleeing robbery suspects, was a perfect match for my car. After what felt like an eternity, I was allowed to pull up my trousers from around my ankles, at which point the policemen holstered their guns, and warned me to comply faster next time, before the squad cars drove away to my profound relief, and to the amusement of the woman who now felt free to share some quality carnal knowledge with me in the motel.
