Who else notice that GOT doesn't show nudity and sex scenes like before anymore cheesy.. Not like s1-s4 grin

They used the nudity part to get enough viewers at the initial stages grin

Isn't that why he's got sir davos grincheesy? tyrion and varys cheesy?.... But still I don't think jon will want to be king

He didnt want to be the king in the north but he is.

He didnt plan on mating the last known targaryen but he did.

He has men who have served as hands to 2 kings.

He is actually the heir to the throne.

He will rule the 7 kingdoms after killing Brandon stark.

And why would Jon wish to kill Bran?

I think the popular theory now is that Bran is the future night king.

Personally can't think of anything worse than Jon Snow on the iron throne.

Infact the perfect ending for me would involve the people of Westeros discovering the joys of democracy instead of having to serve incompetent teenagers and pre-teens as kings and lords

Maybe even night king go do campaign in the north. Man is the closest thing to Buhari anyway

He is right. The concept of Vampires, Dragons, Necromancy/reanimation are products of the medieval era.

Shaven vagina is a modern trend and seems to be a far cry from what was practiced then.
are you for real? in the beginning of the series we clearly see the stark boys being shaved for the kings visit, albeit it was their beards, so if they could shave their beards why cant they shave down below? besides the people of westeroos are highly educated, its a medieval show but its not the stone ages.

Funny, beards shaving started during the stone age when the earliest men found a way to make knives from stones and other objects in their immediate surrounding. We are probably looking at a movie set BC and it is believed that shaving pubic hairs became widespread in the first half of the 20th century.

Now, we are talking about an era of Dragons, though mythical, we are looking at an event of nearly a million year old if not over. It clearly doesn't make sense that people in this era clearly know what it means to shave their pubic areas when they have probably never heard, seen a gun; its introduction being in the 20th century. It makes no sense.

You're just making a mountain out of a mole hill. GRRM didn't give a timeline for the show because it is pure fiction and fantasy. Dragons never existed so I don't know where you got your 'million year old' theory.

India first, though BC but nowhere was it mentioned that it spread during a particular time line. Plus, my initial standpoint is culled from the widespread culture of shaving during the old Greek Empire. The documentation, even as shared took place in the 20th century.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GENRE WITHOUT A TIME IT WAS SET IN!

Dragons are mythical, I rightly pointed this in my post. It is common knowledge. Dinosaurs are said to have existed over 2 million years ago and the idea of Dragons was born from the structure of Dinosaurs, Birds, Reptiles, largely Snakes and Lizards. The myth of Dragons was more sellable at a particular time than in other timelines for reasons. The 'nearly/over a million years' time-line was a rough estimate based on the era it thrived and was almost thought to have existed. It is the same with vampires. The myth was super sellable at a period that many believed it. Today, the idea of Vampires is laughable and somewhat foolish.

There is no way you'd say a movie is 'purely' so and so genre and it doesn't have a time and place of setting. All students of literature know both fictions and non fictions must have these elements. They are the foundation of every work.

It's simple. According to the screenshot you shared, Indian women were recorded to be the first to shave their pubic hairs and this they did before the Birth of Christ, quite a long time, really.

Also, the shaving seemed to have been an exclusive practice of the Hindu Nair Caste system, which means it wasn't a usual, general practice at the time.

As at the 18th Century pre-Victorian Britain, pubic hair shavings were seen as souvenirs amongst the upper class of the society.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pubic_hair

Among the upper class in 18th century pre-Victorian Britain, pubic hair from one's lover was frequently collected as a souvenir. The curls were, for instance, worn like cockades in men's hats as potency talismans, or exchanged among lovers as tokens of affection.[42] The museum of St. Andrews University in Scotland has in its collection a snuffbox full of pubic hair of one of King George IV's mistresses, possibly Elizabeth Conyngham, which the notoriously licentious monarch donated to the Fife sex club, The Beggar's Benison.[42]

It wasn't until the first half of the 20th century that it became widespread and seen as a trend. The Hindu Nair Caste though started way early, they did so exclusively.

I really don't understand why we are arguing about shaved Pubic hair or not.... I am sure you are aware that the dragons you are talking about was said in the story not to have existed for thousands of years before.

The series itself is a fantasy story which include magical powers, wildfire, dragons, science, philosophical theories and politicking....and all you could bring out is shaved Pubic hair?? SMH.

watch the show well and see how educated and enlightened the high born are. they dine well: best dishes, and drink the best wine and wear decent nice well made clothes and you think they won't know how to shave their pubic hairs ? if thats the case then one can point to a thousand things that they shouldnt also know. you think people in that era dont wear perfumes also right? try and read the book gee

In season 8 who will Bronn be fighting for? Cersie or Tyronn??

Bron and Cersei can't be in the same room.
It's in their contracts.

Trailer was shot so perfectly not to give away anything. Except of course snow riding a dragon; no clues whatsoever on what will happen, who will die, who will reign.
These people will not make heave aswear.

Game of Thrones is a tv show steeped in REALISM especially in its first 2 seasons.
I demand authenticity angry
It made no sense how the Wildling character Osha could have a shaved vulva
