As a highly experienced HR Professional and Career Coach, I have come to realize that the job market is filled with many unskilled job hunters.

It actually reminds me of a book I read "...Job Hunt, A Survival for the Fittest". It really opened my eyes!

In Nigeria, it's really a survival for the fittest but with the required skill, knowledge and expertise you can land that dream job you so desired.

Good Day All. Please I am kinda in a dilemma and don't know the best approach to tackle it. HR professionals in the house please come to my rescue.
I am currently working and sometimes my salary gets delayed and at other times we are paid on the last working day of the month.

The thing is as I type this we have not been paid February salary and I am completely dry and dont even see myself going to work on Monday because I am financially dry. I usually save little from my salary even though its not in 6 figures. Spent a 100k on a project last Dec which didn't come out successful, I risked it anyway. Life itself is a risk. I just spent my last savings renting a selfcon apartment February ending and I am completely dry.
My problem is how do I tell my boss I need my salary to be paid since I don't have any money to go to work on Monday. Its a 1 man business so we dont have an HR personnel. What's the best approach to this please? Can I seat back and not go to work without explaining to him?

Thanks guys, will be reading through.

Good day everyone.

Pls I need some advice. I have a BSc in Sociology and I want to further. I want to go for Human Resource Management - MSc in the University of Lagos but from my research so far, they don't offer MSc. HRM but Organizational Behavior. Pls would you advise I still go for it? What are the differences and career prospects? Can someone with OB - MSc degree also function as HR?

I already know I'll go for CIPM and others after my MSc.

Thanks as I await your replies.
Will read through all.
