Please who knows how this was done with html and css?

Easier with bootstrap (a CSS framework)
The left side you assign half the with of the container and insert your image.

The right side is basically heading and paragraph elements with paddings

please guys,

except for code academy, where can i learn SQL online, and for free. cheesy

Please bear in mind, that i have never done any thing related to computer programming before. never ever.

but i have a really high interest. so, something a beginner can easily use to start learning. i really need it for a career switch in the near future.

Code academy is good, but for a beginner everything still feels highly complicated.

thanks in advance for your suggestions.

My dear you lost interest naturally because you never had anything in mind to use programming for. When I delved into the programming world around 2017 , I started with c# because I just wanted to learn programming. All of a sudden within months I lost interest .
But around April last year I was captivated with the use of programming for web development because I also wanted to develop a website too. At this point I knew what I wanted to use programming for and this alone determined the languages I learnt. I started with front end markup languages like html and css and javascript. Later on I started with back-end languages like python. I can tell you boldly that I use python for web development.
My point is use your mission to motivate youself on what language you want to learn.

Nice point...determination and passion is all one needs, I'm just through with my HTML and CSS class so much interesting, just delved into JavaScript now, (next is PHP),(next SQL) (next jquery) (next Python)....

Absolutely . As long as basic secondary school maths isn't a problem, go for it if it interest you.

The good thing about IT jobs is that it is not certificate dependent. Honestly people in the industry wouldnt even care if you graduated college or not. But good thing u already have a bsc. Nothing is stopping you for now.

Anyone willing to teach a beginnner how to code or better still be a UI/UX engineer, am far to been a computer programmer but am ready to learn ..Am an economist and I think the zeal is enough to learn and know it ...I reside in Ibadan

UI/UX is great. But as an economist, I would pursue data analytics, and possibly become a BI expert. But if UI/UX does it for you, it's great also.
If you need more guide on how to get started, chat me up on WhatsApp.

Please i need advise on my next step as a web designer. I am quite proficient with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Materialize, Bulma) and i want to take my skill further to the next level.

I dabbled a bit in Backend(Node.js) but didnt like it. So I need to know what Frontend Javascript frameworks are used for(Vue, React) and if its necessary to learn them or not. Because i still cant comprehend why we even need them.

Thanks
