Anyone can come face to a face with a gunman and in the case you take off running they will point and fire, its a hit or miss, but they won't run after you with determination....unless they are on an errand. Who sent them...? This is what detectives will try to resolve.

Cctv, public and private, are everywhere on American streets...at traffic lights, on bank premises, at parking garages, at corner stores, on office buildings... They can subponea and obtain film records from every camera in a two block perimeter of the crime scene to ascertain when the gunman entered the zone and time difference when the murder happened. Moreso, did other people walk to their car before her.....why her and not the others that went before her? This will set motive of the gunman and that the crime was premeditated, thus establishing murder....not manslaughter or homicide.
