Chai cry so what happens if I am South-east?
Is it advisable to study medicine in unical?

Still it is. I'm from South-east yet was considered on merit for Dentistry and Dental Surgery. Medicine and Surgery: they cut 296 as the merit. Thus, less than most federal varsities.

However, UNICAL is good at observing the ELDS and Catchment things such that most states under that consideration get lower cut off generally and respectively, and yet a "subsidised" and perculiar cut off for each states of such calibre which, in this case, also appears under catchment.

Besides, their PUTME is usually easy to pass for people that understand.

Now, which state are you from?

not all south south states bro,
in fact, if u don't have bassey attached to ur name, you're finished

Hmm... Nobody actually checks your name before admission, (I understand the wit though).

Akwa ibom, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Cross rivers are given special considerations under catchment, though the cut off for each of them might differ.

That falls purely on merit, just like Anambra. People get it, by the way. In fact, there are much Igbos in UNICAL than you can imagine.

If you think you can get up to 320 in the PUTME, you can give it a try.

40 questions under 20 minutes.
English=20
Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths and Current affairs make up the remaining 20.

Easy to pass for informed people and,or the smart thinkers.

Think about UNICAL. Better if you're from ELDS or any South-South state.

Do Unical accept WAEC/NECO combination for MBBS?

My major challenge now. cry

Sure, it is easy. But....

Just as you prepared for JAMB. But this time, dwell majorly on O'level things.

Past questions? They do have but I doubt any question gets repeated unless you have access to that of CBT. Meaning: the past questions floating is that of when the school was doing a PPT thing. Now, they've changed method and also question pattern. Thus, if you're able to get that of last year and last two years, you might laugh in the hall grin

Perhaps, you didn't get up to the cut off mark. Cross riverians ain't dominating in any class here.

Also, because you have scored above or almost 300 in the UTME does not ascertain you are getting admitted, and because you have scored just slightly about 200 does not mean you are not gaining admission…read full article here >>> https://wuyisblog..com/2019/05/after-seeing-utme-result-what-next-tags.html

as of then, I don't know if it's still same now, there is nothing like cut off mark or admission cutting off marks, u buy result checker of 3k to check result and wait for the admission list.. year 2014 precisely

Fight for dentistry with your life bro... The cutoff is not up to 300 as at now in my school, last years cut off was 294-297 or so, so u have the chance before buhari release sense to nigerians the nxt 4yrs.

Hold ur physio tight anyway, it is a nice course too buh then, study for jamb to score high regardless.

Dentistry is like the engineering in the branch of medicine grin
Wen u see me rock my p-cap, jean and my pierced ear, u will concur... The art is it.. So, welcome in advance. (dont plan to come and dress spiro-coco, spiro-coco dressing is for our colleagues in medicine grin, i see them laughing. in this field. We drill only.)

I guess you have to get your BNSc (Bachelors in Nursing Science) first before proceeding to specialize in Surgical nursing.

I believe Theater/Surgical Nursing is a specialty of Nursing and Nursing Science, it is not an Undergraduate course.
