When you download your statement online, it wont have the official bank stamp or seal which makes it authentic

You still will need to visit the banking hall to get that @ emboldened, right? So whats the point of not getting bank stamped statement?

Im not applying for visa. Just saying before we give people advice that MIGHT backfire on them, lets be double sure. . .

If you need bank statement for visa, go to your bank, get it printed, stamped and signed.(then scan and upload it, for online applications) Every visa officer is looking for reasons not to give you visa, dont create one for yourself.

Please I’m so mad now how can I do it... I want to pay tuition fees and the school emailed me that I can’t make a payment until I select and register my courses, and before I do that, I have to select an adviser who I will contact either my call, email or Skype to book a date that I will select the courses. Now I have selected an adviser and she gave me date which is on 6th next month, school is September now and I have less than 3 months now. Please gurus in the house advise me on what to do now I cant sleep again my heart is heavy. I’m thinking of submitting the visa app next week without tuition payment

I helped an uncle with his Canadian visa family vacation application.
Man has traveled to UK,US,Dubai,India. He has traveled with his family to the US before on vacation.
He has a good Job, earn between 1.8 to 2.5 million monthly salary.
He has several investments in landed properties.
He just renewed his US visa 2years along with all members of his family.
I scanned and submitted all evidences of this, the statement has over 30 million naira, the other about 8 million naira.

The application was refused. They simply put that they are not sure he will come back.

I am mad! Do this people close thier eyes and make decisions on these applications?
I submitted everything, introduction letter from place of work, promotions he has had over the years and salary increment. investments in landed properties....everything, scanned and submitted.

I plan to reapply?
Any suggestions what went wrong with previous application or hint on what to do different now.


I even submitted an itenary linking thier trip from Nigeria to America(they all have 2 years US visa) to Canada and back.


what else could I have done?

I want to reapply for them.

Hi everyone, I have previously travelled to the UK, but my passport is missing. Do I get a police report, and how do I do that? I need to submit today. I'm in Lagos... although I have the data page of the lost passport

Wow! Someone that earns 2.5 million can easily accumulate 30 million in his account.
Moreover it is a family of 6, they will burn 4 to 6 million for a vacation in the US and Canada taking into consideration flight tickets and hotel accommodations, to do so one needs to have a deep pocket.

Please in filling the visa application form; kindly advise the amount suitable to quote under "funds available for stay (CAD)" for a 2 week tourist visa for 2 persons (the second person being a toddler of less than 2 years) considering hotel accommodation, feeding and transportation.

I submitted online since April 1st, biometric done on April 5, after i receive email from Vfs that same day of biometric " that my application has been processed in our office, and the tracking number they gave me , am still unable to track in on Vsf site ( saying no record found) and no update from them since then...
Please am confuse at this level

The agent i used has my CIC ... Anytime i ask about update/ status from him, he will just be shouting that they have not reply me.....

Please i need opinion from you all

The agent is silly. Why should he shout at you,its your right to ask of the update. I applied since 21st of march and have got no response till date. If the agent used your email addy when applying,you will get a mail when your cic account is updated

in the first place you need not have used any silly agent,visa application and any type of application whatsoever are things you can do on your own as often you are better in knowledge that the so called agents ,the difference is that we are lazy to read guidelines and application procedures from visa application sites . We should start developing this attitude of DIY...here in western world everything is DIY both female and male...you have unending resources on youtube to answer any type of questions you need.

So dont worry that tracking thing is a problem i dont know how CVAC wants to resolve cos they give you tracking number that is never useful.But at the end updates in your email ate the major one you should look out for.

Next time dont use agent,do all yourself.its easy.

plus did you apply to visit a family in Canada or just for tourism.

If his purpose of visit is not clear enough, and travelling with his whole family of 6 is also questionnable.

Havent personally experienced this but looks like tourist visas are getting harder by the day and even good applicants on paper are being turned down. I would suggest GCMS notes for a case like this because if their profile is as you say, solid travel history , solid income and account balance and ties in form of job and investments , its hard to see why theyd be refused

someone I know also submitted online since September 5, 2018 and still getting same reply. Though it's a working visa.

Book your flight and hotel, add up the amount, also add other expenses, likw transportation,sightseeing etc. That will give you an estimated total budget. Put your total amount there

The family is made up of 6 members, Parents and 4 kids.

There is no way anyone will be left out

Can you just imagine the statement? “Having too much Proof of funds.” So it is now an offense to have sufficient funds for a trip abroad. Some people don’t even think before writing.

The point is visa applications can be denied at any giving time even if you have all supporting documents to prove your case.

The issue might not even be from you it might also be the current situation of the country (Nigeria).
