I am Igbo, a lover and not a misogynist. I believe men and women are equal and strongly advocate for that. I also believe relationships are suppose to be teamwork and also places chivalry as an upper most importance. Perhaps the culture of the Igbo's magnifies that to a bit. You know the Ome nala and all that. We also have the umu Ada thing too.

However, we are family oriented and we try to elevate our daughters to achieve their goals which placed them in high regards in our society. Apparently, our females are doing quite exceptionally both home and abroad. That having been said, I'm Igbo and in my next life.. God please create me as an Igbo person or let me rest in peace.
