I have given it a shot because I actually have the opportunity of seeing what the job is like. I do have the experience they want ,but definitely not the qualification. Let me see what happens from here.

Just as predicted. This is the policy of other ExxonMobil companies around the world, they use the test scores taken in the last 6 months. While they dont have any problems with applying for multiple positions, they use the first aptitude test scores for the subsequent applications

LOL no, a score maybe low for one role and be sufficient for another. The scores can't be that big that they will discard all test data, they will keep it for how long the client wants it to be kept

So in the case of people who jes wrote it for the very first time n maybe the score wasn’t favorable for them(i know they don’t disclose it) I don’t think it’ll be fair judging subsequent ones with that...

Anyways, that’s how they run their thing

I doubt, they will extract the scores for numerical, verbal and abstract only - that way it will be level playing ground for everyone

Whatever score you had in the test (no matter how big or small) is recorded against your name. In subsequent application within six months, if that score happen to be among the highest for any other role you applied for, you will automatically be considered.

They should hav a way to evaluate and bring the tests to same level playing ground . one would hav loved to take the PA test cos i believ one wuld hav don better now. D engineering no be here particularly if the PA test would be some Mgt and Procurement stuff.

Honestly dont think there will be a skills test, it is easier to do the procurement analyst role without a skill test than to do it with a skills test

I bought the complete Aptitude Test package from them yesterday. Its actually assessmentday.co.uk. And I'm starting studying with it. The variations in Numerical and Verbal Reasoning is what got me confused. There was Numerical Reasoning, Numerical Critical Reasoning, Advanced Numerical Reasoning and all.

Anyway thanks for mentioning assessmentday. Lemme "goandie" with the materials now
