The police have released a sketch of the suspect in the killing of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh's wife, who was killed in a Greenbelt, Maryland, parking lot earlier this month.

Bettie Jenifer, 44, was shot dead in front of about 10 witnesses on May 10 as she walked from the employment agency she owned.

Greenbelt police said a gunman chased her down in the parking lot, shot her in front of witnesses and ran off.

The police released the sketch Friday. They haven’t named a suspect or a motive yet.

Jenifer married Chris Attoh last October.

She was still in the process of divorcing Kedrick Jenifer, a convicted Baltimore-area drug dealer serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison, whose house in Bowie she was reportedly living in.

But there was a fake one in Charleston, South Carolina, USA over 20 years ago. A lady, Susan Smith, pushed her car with her two little boys into a lake and accused a black guy snatching her car at gunpoint. The e-fit sketch of a black guy wearing a woolly hat could have been anybody.

From further questioning by a black Policeman made her story look incredulous. White officers totally believed her story. But the black officer persisted and she finally confessed.

Got got rid of her kids to please her new boyfriend who didn't want any kids. She then took police to the lake to show where she sank the car.

If not one innocent black, probably previously, arrested for carjacking in the area, could have been arrested for it.

That's an insane story!

It's ridiculous how the white police officers would believe such a story without concrete information. Says a lot about black stereotyping and victimization.

I guess with the advent of technologies like CCTVs and dashcams, the Police would rely less on subjective information from a few eyewitnesses to make these sketches.

Or maybe still, it's a computer generated sketch. What do I know?

in advance countries the security system is inclusive... Do u even know that most 911 dispatchers aren't actually cops? The sketch artists also...

The U.S. Congress changed the immigration law back in 2009, to allow the surviving spouse of a U.S. citizen to petition for himself or herself regardless of how long they were married prior to the spouse’s death. yes I have watched it.. Infact I watch crime documentaries everyday.. Her story was pathetic because she claimed the guy didn't want her cuz of the guy's statement that they would have been better without her kids. Then she decided to kill them... The irony was the guy was a serial womanizer and had no intention of keeping her..

For so long, artists have been employed in the Police force. In this kind of scenario, the witnesses are being invited to explain and describe the look of suspect while the artist sketches in the process.

Even the Whites do this.
