Thanks boss..

If flight tickets and e-boarding pass will be ok ..I won't mind that tho

It will definitely not harm your chances of getting the visa

I hope this isn't coning late.

For my wedding, I used my Nigerian passport to enter and exit Nigeria, so I printed out boarding pass and copied my Nigeria stamped passport pages and had the post office verify that it was genuine..

Our documents were large so I arranged them in the right order with cover pages and plastic sleeve separating each sections. Didnt bind or staple any thing

Though the documents was more than 2 kg, I still sent through royal mail boxed special delivery

Sir Lex.. Oga Justwise and my able wise ones

Please i have a question.. want to send my docs to Sheffield on thursday, the 30th of May, 2019...

However, i need to confirm something..

My wife (sponsor) used her Nigerian passport to fly down here in oct2018 for our wedding so her green passport has the entry/exit stamp.

Her British passport has other entry/exit stamps of trips we've been to..

Is it okay to show the entry/exit stamp on her Nigerian passport as part of supporting docs to show she came to naija for the wedding?

NOTE: The online form already asked if she has dual nationality, and i replied Yes to that..

Thanks for anticipated response

Thanks for the update... no it isn't late.. submitting thursday max..

I assume you're the sponsor in this case? the British citizen yeah.. so its same scenario with u having dual citizenship..

ahhhhh @verifying stamped passport pages were genuine.. nawa..

I will go for cover pages and plastic sleeves separating each section inside the royal mail boxed special delivery..

Hello boss..

It seems there is no more tracking of decision making in the TLS contact website...

An account was opened for me on the day of biometrics, but I still can't sign in nor activate online by choosing a password.

Should I be worried? How will I track updates when I send docs to Sheffield and my time starts counting?

I also didn't get any emails from UKVI.. just emails from TLS on the day of biometrics that they've sent my visa application to the decision making centre for processing

Also, do i need to write my GWF number on the front page of the online application letter? do i need to write my full names and sign behind the passport pictures? am i attaching it to the front page of the online form where there is a space for passport picture or i just add the passport pictures in the royal mail envelope?

I'm sorry for all my questions but the fact is that this process is tedious..

Thanks for anticipated response.

Writing all numbers on application and passport, would not harm your application........

In this your panicked state, ensure you are paying attention to all relevant informations, not forgetting the '28 day rule'............

Yes I think the tracking function is gone

Sadly when you send documents to Sheffield sometimes you will not get an acknowledgement for weeks, so don't worry yourself about that just make sure you sent it to the right address and use special delivery.

I suggest you write the GWF number on the envelope and write the full details on the first page of the package..e.g. GWF number and name of the applicant

Put the passports in a separate envelope and mark it then add it to the bigger package.
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Kenttoday: 9:06am On May 29, 2019
During our application, I wrote our GWF number on everything...as in, everything. I just didn't want to take chances. Even the box we used to post had the GWF..

lol .. my financial docs were earliest dated 18th April 2019 while my online submission was 13th of May 2019 (25days)

I didn't add her payslip and bank statement for her May salary in the supporting docs cos it is after we submitted online application..

i guess its fine yh..

from this forum, i learnt financial docs shouldn't be more than 28days before u submit the online application.

Failing that very important 28 day rule, would be a very costly mistake......

All other documents could be 100%, but at the final relay lap, the baton would be dropped......... cheesy

Hello everyone.. just a quick question. I had my uk spouse visa refusal overturned and had to go resubmit my passport, which I did on the 29th of March. I’m still waiting to get my passport back and since it’s been over 10 weeks now, I’m just wondering how long this process takes and what step to take next.

Thanks

Hello all,

My spouse (F) doesn't have a passport yet, is it better to jist wait after marriage before applying for a passport so that she doesn't have to go through the hassle of changing names on the passport?

We are hoping to get the spouse visa ready quickly after marriage.

Thank you all

It doesn't matter and you don't need to do any name changing, your marriage certificate takes care of that.

Where did you submit your passport?

I suggest you go there and check. Read that someone just went to the center the passport was there without any email.

What service do people normally use in Nigeria to send documents to Sheffield?

Depends on how important the documents are..... If it's fairly important, use DHL..........

Hi I’m need of help I’m in the process of completing my spouse visa but I’m stuck in accommodation section of the application. I’m still living with my parents, but plan on moving out once the application is approved. Do I need to write a letter to let them know this. Will still need to provide tenancy agreement and landlord letter

How big is your parents house? How many people currently reside in your parents house?

A keynote for spousal application, is suitable accommodation........ Do you think accommodation is suitable for all presently + 1?......

If you are the ECO case worker, with a similar application and you had to decide on the faith of the applicant, would you put a red or black ink, in the box passing accommodation prerequisite?....
