Good morning everyone, this is my first time writing here. I want to ask a couple of questions. I am presently thinking of schooling in Ireland and I found the University of Limerick to study FINANCIAL SERVICES for my masters degree.

I am a social science student and I want to know if the course I choose is among the courses on the critical skilled list that will get permanent residency after graduation and the 2years work experience. Or is it just IT courses

I also want to know
1) Courses in social sciences I can study that is in the critical skills list.

2)The opportunities to get a partime job in Limerick

3) Opportunities to get a job in my discipline in Limerick after graduation.

4) if IELTS or any English proficiency exam is compulsory for Ireland's visa interview. Thank you very much house as I await responses. God bless you all.

Hello people,
I want to clarify something here. When I was to pay my tuition, I went to Gtb and inquired about Form A exchange rate, I was made to understand that the international exchange market is domiciled against the USD. Hence you buy dollars first then it is converted to whichever currency you wish to buy.
So for those of you saying you were told 1€/357 should do well to be sure you understand the currency you were told at the bank.

For a clearer understanding, how much is your fees in Euro and how much was deducted from your account?
Do the maths and we will have a clearer picture of the subject matter.

I may be wrong on this one but hey it's a discussion thread.

Regards

Can I use a savings account for the form A? Someone told me I'll need to open a current or domiciliary account to use the form A. I want to use gtb and I already have a saving account with them

You nailed it. That's how the transactions work.

For the person asking about savings or Current, Most banks do Current . GTB i think can process from a savings account.

Cheers

Guys plss I need ur suggestion..

I wanted to use the education Bond for proof of statement.. unknowingly to me..I thought I can pay with my dollar account

wen I registered..I got to know that i can only pay using by bank transfer. And the money is in euros, according to slip generated.

And I don't have a euro account. because getting euro is very hard...

So I want to ask. Is it possible to use my dollar account to do the bank transfer in euro. Or should i just leave the money in my domiciliary dollar account and just use it as proof of funds..

So my main question now is. If I can also use my domiciliary dollar bank statement for my visa application with the 8000 Dollars in it...
Thank you.. pls I need ur suggestion fast plssssss

Hi all. I need some guidance please...

I understand that we don't require an address to apply for visa. On the visa application though, it is asking me for contact information about host/ accomodation.

Will it be ok to use the school information for this even though I don't want to stay in school accomodation? And is it ok to use school info to apply for health insurance as well?

Thanks in advance

Use the school address and when you get to where you are asked if you know the host personally, click no.

You will be fine las las.

Just checked a couple of zenith banks and they said rate
Is usually first calculated in dollar multiplied by
1.1424 so it depends on how much dollar is that day
Or how did you guys do yours ?

have u confirmed it?

Just made inquiries from Zenith and Fidelity banks and they are all in consonant with that of first Bank . as at today, the exchange rate using Form A all stood at 398 to 399.

Please, let's always be sure of what ever info will put here. And if it's not verified, u can as well indicate so.

Thanks.

Fact is the official transaction denomination for payment of school fees from Nigeria using the form A is the US dollar.there is no point going back and forth on that.no bank will transact the fee using the Euro or Pound.it will be calculated in dollars and that equivalent taken from your current naira account. The payment would be remitted to your host school in Euro, using another conversion rate over there.Using the USD to transact is a big help rendered, dats all.
