Age counts in years...Assuming if their requirements are; You should not be more than 30 years as at 31st August 2019, but you will be 31 years by 1st Sept , 2019...You are qualified as you are not upto 31 years on that day which is 31st August... But on this custom recruitment is 31st July 2019, one should not be more than 30 years....We count age in years, if you are 29 years, your next age is 30 not 29 years 3 months or so...Age starts with 1,2,3.....continually

Customs officers dey do juju to get juicy posting oo. Alot of fetish powers fighting each other at the ports and borders. I think oyo/Osun command is OK. Ibadan is a peaceful place to settle. I know of someone that was recruited in 2011 into d service. He was posted to FCT, and he's in money. He already built his own mansion in Abj. Personally I don't like port nor borders. Lagos isn't a good place to settle.

Almost all the commands/offices use to share money every Friday or fortnight. All the officers at the borders and roads always remit back to there boss in d office

By the time they will be concluding the screening to the point of getting the job... if everything does not elapse September then you are good to go. but if it elapses u might be screened out due to that even if u are a day older.
although am response is based on my NDA experience that was what screened me out i was four month older. but i don't know if the rule apply to Nigeria customs

Oga nothing like month in DOB as it relate to employment. They only recognize year not month. Even if you're to be 31 by December and recruitment was conducted by January, the system will count 31 for you. I maybe wrong though

Today I saw some custom guys, I told them am a prospective custom officer ,one of them laugh and said are you sure,I said am confident,another one ask which cadre are you applying for, I said officer, the guy said so you want to be my OGA here ,I said I don't understand,he said he is a lower rank newly recruit which means I will be of higher rank. He laugh and laugh again,I said sir is it funny he said no but do you no any strong person I a anwered papa god.. is said ok god will help you!
My question is, "newly recruit"? The last time I checked,custom recruitment was far back 2011 so how comes about this one!
