"information is power and power is not negotiable " what you don't know, you don't know. I was once like you guys, talking bad about countries like Jordan until I was given the information at a very costly price. You see bro, it's better to take a different route to a France, Estonia, China etc, if you will not easily get the same opportunity here in your beloved Nigeria. with my residents permit in Jordan, I got my Estonia and Netherlands within six months. Everything is about plan, don't stay in Nigeria applying for these countries visas cos you will be wasting much of your time. the Jordan citizens here don't travel that much cos their country is doing great... presently a Jordan Dina is 507 to your Nigeria naira. each time I sent just 30 JD home to my brother, I dey feel the prayers lol. people with visions don't stay in one corner of their house waiting for things to happen, they go out to make it happen. Stop discouraging people who are old enough to decide for themselves. peace

if all what you typed is true, then you are one of the lucky ones. anyone, I repeat, anyone is free to travel to any country of his/her choice. if he/she so wishes let him/her travel to Syria,Yemen, or Djibouti.
what I'm advocating for is, don't just travel in the name of travel out.. carry out comprehensive checks on the country of your choice. for me, it'll be suicidal to travel to eastern Europe or middle east without my country embassy (though they don't care about me) but I can still be able to communicate back home

You are right bro, lucky and God's favour is important. it's very germane to know where you are going to, don't just travel because people are travelling. Nigeria is actually better than some foreign countries out there, but the truth is that no matter how bad a country is, some people will still make it there why some people will regret ever embarking on such journey. Everything na by God's grace jo, life itself isn't easy sometimes

There is nothing like citizenship by birth. I meant RP, residence permit. you can get your residence permit within a week and it's for a year bro but renewable. No company is going to collect your passport from you. That is the freedom you will enjoy with your residence permit
Re: Life In Jordan For Nigerians by Nobody: 7:49am On Jun 03, 2019

Okay. Thanks, So much , with there residence permit, and with which bank account do u suggests one can use to apply to other countries there in Jordan. Cos, I think Jordan account details would have been best form of account statement since it seems u are already working in Jordan with ur RP. Or how do u see it, Won't using ur Naija bank statement be a red flag in applying to other countries. Just asking though

You can use Naija account bro, don't forget you are a student there and someone in naija is sponsoring you. so you can use your sponsor's account. You will only claim you are going to whichever country you applied to for vacation and you will be back to Jordan once your school resume.

Pls Guys, there are some information I wouldn't want to reveal here, for example the one I just explained to the guy I quoted above me. we shouldn't forget that the world is now a global village and we are not the only people on nairaland. I know for sure that some foreigners are also here, some stuffs should remain secret until you are there. one thing I am sure of is that when you get to Jordan you will meet guys crossing legitimately everyday. All you need is to have the right papers and be determined, you may even decide to stay in Jordan if you are comfortable there. we should be prayerful and ask God for his favour and blessings where ever we want to go. I no want make this people go change watin dey work for us now o

well, it depends on how much you are ready to settle for. Where I worked, I was paid 250k monthly. I have a friend collecting 335k monthly. some people are also collecting 180k, 200k. you can always find a better paying job, it's not like Dubai where you are contracted to work for a period of time before you can change job. on the issue of house rent, you can share flats with other Nigerians. let say 30 to 50k per month, depending on the town and location
I thank you for all you have been doing here ,after giving out Iqama(permit) how do we search for jobs is it online and get shared accommodation ?

prior to last year, you don't have to pay your school fee until you get there but trust Nigerians, they miss used the opportunity. Now you have to pay before coming to Jordan. the fee is between 600 to 700 us dollar. Also to apply for the language course, all you need is your original o level result, data page of your international passport, white background photo passport, your sponsor bank statement of account. I am very sure that if you provide all this your admission is 100 percent sure. Note, Jordan is a very good country to hustle far better than UAE

I disagree with the emboldened... Jordan FAR better than UAE.. Maybe because their tuition fee is affordable apart from that, United Arab Emirates is better than Jordan.
