According to a post from the official social media account of National Moonsighting Committee Nigeria, the Emirs of Gwandu, Borno, Katsina and Damaturu have confirmed to His Eminence the Sultan that there was positive sighting of Shawwal crescent in their Emirates. H.E the Sultan will make an announcement shortly.

The greeting Eid Mubarak is to be said after the Eid salah and not before it... allaahu alan, this is the most correct thing in sha Allaah.....and that's the practice of the sahabas,tabien salafs(may Allah be please with them)
