I don't think anyone can categorically tell you chances with state nomination as it is dependent on states doing their thing. However, I do know that for management occupations, nomination is not that fast Compared to engineering and science. Nevertheless, the only way to know her chances is to apply.

What does she do in Brisbane? How about the principal visa holder?

Australia is a very low oil producing country, rig workers are not on the skillselect list and the closest occupation to that is mining engineering excluding petroleum engineering. Mining related professions are also finding it difficult to migrate due to decline in mining activities in recent years.

And here I have been hoping to grab partner's point. But no thanks to vetassess. Wyf has bsc microbiology from a state uni. So i hv read that vetassess can't give +ve outcome not minding any yrs of experience gained. And I HV turned to say ok , all things being equal, things will fall in place when she will be getting her MSC cert by 1st quarter next yr, they also appeared saying that the experience they count is post qualification thereby rendering her experience zero, n thus, no +he outcome . so, no point from there even if we re to be patient. This I understand. Or is there any headway house? Is this 4yrs naija uni bsc issue general with all assessing body?

My Ielts of l8r9w7s7 is a target score for canny brethrens but here our goal I knw shld be 8888. That to me o is a tall order. And no, Pte isn't for my kind. Their format I can't deal. 1. Can I use the same CDR I used for my recent assessment again? I was assessed as an Engineering Technologist without my Master Degree but the CO told me I could apply again with my masters to be assessed as a professional engr. I would just like to submit the same CDR again.

2. I have both a Bsc and Master (studied in Australia) in Petroleum Eng..looking at the current trend and now that Petroleum eng is back on the list, do I go for chemical or petroleum engineering? With 70 points now, which will be more favourable for quicker ITA?

You can try 489 when the new financial year starts in July. Student path is not really a wise decision for someone with your points..

Please do you have a format of a convincing letter for vetasses. i also heard that they would reduce out of my work experience and i was wondering why. Also is it just letter head letter recommendation they need.

There are really no tips i can only monitor performance, apparently everyone knows what the exam entails but it takes supervision to get your scores. There are tips everywhere to be honest. But how many people supervise performance. I need to see why they arent getting their scores then i would improve their previous methods. And how can that be achieved on this platform. Hence i put my number. So you should have also put your number let me call you. I was not stingy with my performance i showed everyone, some people just come here and say they have 20 points without stating how they did it to help others. i could put links and video practice but of what good would it be, all those things are on youtube. Its good not to judge people before you know why they did what they did. This your response is quite rude brother. I want to help people get my score also. I can put all the materials i studied here it still does not guarantee they would pass, I am saying i have a solution which is not platform chat hence i put my number and for your information people have been calling and i have been helping yeah.

With 70points for any engineering profession you will still wait like forever for 189, try 190 or 489. 80points was the minimum for any engineering profession (189) ITA in May.

Base on May invitation round, the minimum point for accounting 189 is 90points and 190 is also competitive because states that are nominating have their conditions, try 489 and if you opt for study route chose a state that nomination will be possible after studies.

Microbiologist is no more in 189 class. Except they have included it again i dont know. But pls send me a link where you saw it. I chose food technologist because that was the only available choice nearest to microbiology.

Go through the guidelines on VETASSES website for construction project manager. If your job aligns with the anzsco description, you should scale through.

Psychology is regulated like medicine. Assessing as a psychologist is a long thing as you would go through long process.

Depending on your experience, you would have to find a related occupation on the list or be patient enough to go through the process.

At the moment, an accountant needs at least 90 points. I don't know how those people got the crazy point.

If you use the student path for accountant, you may still end up from where you started. However, if you get a school in Northern Territory or Tasmania, you have higher chance at getting nominated.
