The problem is that the whites ruling Nigeria would have left us backward in all respects.

South Africa had white people running their affairs for a long time....and at the end of the day, the same whites underdeveloped education for the blacks...only allowed the kind of education that would have made them houseboys and girls...with the result that there is a large mass of black South Africans who have zero qualificaitons.

The problem with Nigeria is that you people want to chop money.,you don't want to vote leaders who would bring in sustainable economic polices. You don't want to go into politcs, and be the change.

You are not inferior to the whites. Go and do better than the whites.

It appears to me that the MILITARY ERA was far better, at least it eliminated much of these BAD LEADERS to a larger extent.
But now we have a BEEHIVE of them.

independence was gotten far tooooooooo early.
. That's not the problem. It was rather gotten on a platter of gold through the back door by selling out our country using dirty deals that enriched the pockets of our colonial masters, generation of those who sold us out but to impoverish the nation as a whole. Independence is fought hard for even with the lives of the country men. Take a look at south Africa, america etc... Its in counties such as these the true meaning and value of democracy exists..
