Legendary South African musician Ndikho Xaba is dead. He died June 11 at the age of 85..

The announcement of his death was made with a short statement released on his Facebook page on Wednesday morning.

The post reads;

"For those of you who may not know Baba Ndikho Xaba made his transition on June 11, 2019 at about 9am. It was a smooth peaceful transition for which we are eternally grateful."
