Ask those who have Purchased a FuFu phone before AND they would tell you they Tested it and it worked perfectly.

How those Guys work is very Simple - they come with a fully working Phone and a Replica Casing packed with FuFu.

They give you the working One to Test and allow you enough time to Test it while giving you a slight air of Hurry as na for Road Una dey.

When you're through, they Pocket it back while discussing (e.g Price) with you.

As soon as you both comes to agreement and You Pay, they give you the phone (after exchanging it for the One wey chop FuFU) and tell you something (like You should pocket it quickly so people don't collect it from you, or police issue, etc.) that would make you not look at it before they have enough time to DisAppear.

na Later you go Understand.

Another thing, You still can be Scammed in the Shops also - Some would pose as sellers (I believe they have agreement with shop owner) while other Customers (maybe na them arrange the crowd sef) are in the Shop and give you a Fake receipt (that's if you collect receipt sef).

when you come back (after being sold a Faulty/ReFurbished device) to lay a complain, na then you go see another face(s) who would tell you it wasn't from them you bought it fro.

Producing a receipt wouldn't help either as it (in most cases) wouldn't match.

Even if it matches, they can tell you to point out who atteneded to you, when you can't (since the person wouldn't be there then), they would say maybe you gave your money to a Customer or someOne posing as a seller in their SHop while they were attending to others and finish it up with Bros/Babe shine your eyes na. Na Lagos you dey. Why you go let person use your Brain Like this na.

You can't make wahala easily (except of course you know your way) as you might even get confused trying to be sure you're in the Right Place. Now that's their Deal-Breaker as any sign of conFusion OR Doubt would be an advantage they would quickly take as advantage of.

If you try raising your Voice, people around (mostly them them) would come Calm you down. They would succeed except of course you able to take control of the situation BUT that doesn't come easily.

There Are More ways you can get Scammed BUT easiest is doing the following to avoid Stories that Touch
1. Don't get Swayed by Overtly Cheap Prices (it's way EaSier to fall for Scams when you're looking for Short-Cuts/cheap purchases).
2. Take Your time checking your Purchase before making Payments.
3. Ask all Questions no matter how many they might Be. If they starts getting Angry and/ or imPatient, either ignore them or approach another seller who has your time. Excuses such as Am rushing to or we're about to close, or someOne already paid part-payment for it and it's the Last one BUT am selling because of You (even if they try making you Believe you're from same village hence your brother/Sister), etc should never Sway you into skipping any process OR inFluence your Buying Decisions. Scammers / Marketers wants you to Act Now and wouldn't want you having enough time to evaluate what they tell or give You.
4. Always ensure your Questions gets Answered exactly to your Satisfaction - Lots of them knows how to Deflect or ReConstruct a Question or keep saying something else till you forget you asked something earlier.
5. Only make Payments when 100% sure of your Purchase. They only have your time Before You pay them. As soon as you Pay them, their attension to you diminishes and they want to attend to someOne else. and if you are back to lay a complain, na there wahala go dey as they would rarely have your time except of course You know your way.

...and if You're Smart Enough, you can Magga the Magga sef.

Bye for Now
