If man was God, as much as u might doubt an Uncle/Aunty paying so much for his/her niece. I stand to tell you we have people like that and I'm a testimony to that.

trust me you dont need to tell me .......... I might have been an Aunty in this waka too wink wink. Not that it is not possible , it actually happens . Its part of our culture to do so . It just that the more the economy gets harder the fewer it becomes

The thing is..there are countries were extended family is more proximate to nuclear family than other countries..
In regions in Asia and Africa, you would find such in many homes...but in the US, no.
I'm thinking from VOs' American backgrounds, they'll know that chances of coming across extended family paying Soo much is very low...It depends on the VO..I think ppl with that situation need to pray for VO's that would look at his/her case in the context of his country.

Safaest way to convince the VO if you're using Uncle/Aunty as sponsor is to print an SOA ending very close to your interview date.
A day or two days to your interview.

That's more like very convincing.

Matter of fact one just chatted me that the VO held on to his SOA and requested for a new one closing in mid June and gave a yellow paper.

Course of study is the name of the program you're going for.

Held on to it and gave a yellow slip? If he provides it, then will he be approved?

That’s why I am concerned with the uncle/aunty sponsorship thing

Only if there is no huge withdrawals after printing the new one. This is the reason we advice people to go with a very recent statement of account.

The only way you should and MUST be scared is if you're not sure of the SOURCE of the SOA.

He will share it. When it is time.

For those considering Spring and Fall 20

Get the IVY or get the Funding.

That's the only way out !

Haba cheesy just say it's the easiest way out, not the only way. Some might be discouraged with that statement. It's not everyone that will get into IVY league or get funding. Some programs are so hot that it's not easy to get funding in those programs.

Lol
I know right..

It is safer to have this mindset.
Safer for us and our child unborn.

Imagine that 90% of Nigerians go to the embassy with either funding or IVY?

Sometimes, one has to wait and give quality time to get what is required.

We show too much desperation. That's the difference between us and the Indians.

60% of Indians go to embassy with loan or family funds and are approved. Nigeria own is different cos we started using fake statement of account and improvising fraudulent means.

Good day guys, I’m having issues booking/paying for an interview date and I need a quick response if anyone doesn’t mind, can he/she pm me so I can call and ask the questions/information I need quickly instead of a back and forth here waiting for a reply as I have a series of questions as someone is on the way to the bank already.

Secondly, this one is for the house, I have a scanned bank statement from America I used in obtaining my I-20, when it’s time for the interview do I simply print it out or ask them to send an origin copy via DHL/Fedex?
Thanks in anticipation of a response

Cheers!

Visa Interview

Me: Good morning
VO: good morning
VO: why are you going to the US?
Me: I am going for my master’s degree in computer science at Austin Peay State University (APSU) Tennessee
VO: How did you hear about this course?
Me: I did an extensive search online using msinus, usnews offering computer science and I also streamlined my search with reference to universities offering predictive analytics & also from time to time I attend some organized webinars where the speakers talk about how companies are maximizing the use of predictive analytics to enhance their business objectives.
VO: what other schools did you apply?
Me: I named the remaining 4 universities and I got admitted to all. (i mentioned them)
VO: why did you choose APSU?
Me: I chose APSU because it offers extensive courses that synchronize field studies in computer science with research analysis which will give me the needed technical expertise to be able to effectively implement and I also got a graduate assistantship that gave me a full tuition and some stipends.
VO: I will be approving your visa.

Thanks, everyone
