Has anyone heard about green shuttle cab services in Nigeria?

So on my way to work today, standing at the bus stop along Lekki-Epe Express way, a black Sienna pulled in front of me and the driver was selecting the passengers he wants to pick.

He pointed at me, I was reluctant at first but I was already late for work and was tired of waiting for a bus, so I summoned courage and entered the vehicle. Immediately, the driver started saying they are a new cab service in town and they pick passengers at bus stops and then take them to their destination. He added that their service is way cheaper than taxify and uber because they pick about four or five persons on a trip, so the passengers share the bill. According to him, they have been offering free rides to passengers since the beginning of the week as part of their marketing strategy. Then he brought out a paper containing people's names, numbers, email address and pick up bus stop, saying they are keeping records of the people they offer the free ride to. I became suspicious immediately he gave me the paper because all the names had the same handwriting.

I am sure he noticed my countenance then he started saying I can check google to verify that the company exists and I can download their app on Google play store, so I can order online subsequently. He was asked why his car isn't branded, he said the company is trying to avoid paying money to the government. He also said they have a company logo but this logo was not n the form he gave us to write our details. Maybe I was just scared but all he was saying didn't make sense to me

While he was saying all these, he was stopping at bus stops selectively looking for people to pick, then he called a guy to join us and then he picked two ladies who said they were going to VI. He continued his story until I got to my bus stop.

I just decided to check the green shuttle cab service on google and I can't find anything like that in Nigeria. I have also gone to google play store to look for their app but I didn't find anything related to Nigeria.

There are some international taxi companies online, does anyone have any idea if they have started or planning to start operations in Nigeria?

You know different things happen in our society these days especially this Lagos.

I am wondering if anyone else has heard about these guys.

I've actually heard of them and i use their services quite frequently. They are a startup company and quite new in the country. Their rates are pretty decent too. Try googling them again as i use their app to book rides.
