You wish to seal a deal but you never told anyone what your budget is....I am talking from my experience with you. Better soup na money kill am....you said you cannot go more than 1.7m for an Xle of that year....one begin to wonder if you actually need Xle. My car is still waiting for you...when you taya you go realise I gave you value for your money....you won't regret buying that car...

Thanks for the feedback brother. I remember we spoke. Unfortunately, I didn't follow up to check VIN-Check your car. I'm however still available to any reasonable offer. This is however after my due examination and inspection.
May I refer you to visit my signature and see who I am. Needless to say that not all the cars I've used and sold were sold here.
Over the years, I've gathered several experience from my hobby of buying cars for short use before selling them of. This practice of mine isn't born out of profit orientation. Rather, it's my hobby. I would not deny the fact that I've made gains and losses on cars that I've used even when that wasn't my motivation.
It may interest you to note that I've had the cause to travel to ogbomosho to buy a Benz which I used for less than 1year. But this time, I'd source my car from and in Lagos, Canada or Dubai.
In the last couple of days, I've had several offers most of which I don't like. The best of them all is off Toyin Street, Ikeja. Though the engine/gear runs well and fair for a car of that age, we couldn't agree to price cos his selling point of the car's roof being unique is my put off (I recommend this car for anyone who likes his car to stand out.)
From my initial post, I stated my preference to deal directly with owner. Most offers I've got had been from agents and dealers who compound all their family problems on a car and seek to get as much as over 100k from a transaction of about 1.5million. Compounding the issue is the fact after running a comprehensive VIN check on these cars, I'll discover that these cars are either greatly accidented, mechanically/electrically faulty or the mileage rolled back to 80-90k.
Even at that, they still try to get as high as 1.8-1.9 on such cars. It leaves me wondering how someone will land a car at the port for less than $2000, clears it with less than half the landing cost and still seek to sell it for $6000.
I can assure you that before the end of tomorrow, I'll land a satisfying car. (I'm currently carless. Sold the former one yesterday)
