As part of the 2019 Young University Rankings, Times Higher Education has created a subset ranking of millennial universities (established since the year 2000).

This subset was derived from the overall Young University Rankings. The results were determined using the same methodology used for the THE World University Rankings, although the weightings were recalibrated to reflect the missions of young universities. The full methodology can be viewed here.

Sorbonne University France Ranking Second Though Established In 2018

Sorbonne university was established as a merger of several small French institutions - the oldest of which was founded in 1257. The university currently runs a 273 Billion naira/annum budget.

Hahaha even the so called Asheshi no show face. If you look at this ranking, most of the new European Universities are actually mergers. I know University of West Scotland is a merger. University of Johannesburg is a merger. And many of them with budgets above N100 billion an annum. Covenant is one of the few true born of the millennium.

Almost every university(both public and private) on that list out charge Covenant in terms of tuition fees by a wide margin, yet the university against all odds made it into the list. Food for thought to those unrepentant critics who are quick to point out exorbitant school fees.
