Bnimz:
Actually this is only partially correct. He announced that he now has partnered with an immigration service for those who don't want to do it themselves.
Long after that, he still continued to answer people's questions free of charge

He can't remove his signature.. you can't edit profile when you are banned. Look at this.[img][/img]

You obviously talking about what you have little or no knowledge about.

Yes you can edit your signature while banned as many have done it before.

Lastly nobody charges to answer questions in any thread in this section, if you want to do that then place an ad and pay for it.

Justwise, this thing does not require major back and forth.. I have never been banned before, so I wouldn't know what you can or can't do. All I see in the image is an Edit profile page that is greyed out...

If you could unban him for a day, and he doesn't remove the ad, then that would be a different matter..

This is part of Nigeria's problem, so because of bellong, a million Nigerians would now lose the opportunity to access information on Australian migration, this act would make loads of people stranded in their process now, please think about these people . Either Nairaland likes it or not, bellong's effort on the Australian thread brought more traffic to Nairaland and possibly benefited Nairaland financially, why would someone think of taking the thread down. I believe there should be other ways to do this, we should not exercise power the wrong way, would someone set his house on fire because there is a snake in it!. Please review and rethink your action.

There a lot of people helping out in this section without asking for money, if one person is allowed to charge then others will take the same step.

That thread will be restored as he removes his ad.

Okay, ban me for a while then. Let me check. If I'm unable to edit, then its cool

why not just ban him. this is rather too hasty

justwise:

That thread will be restored only when bellong removes the visa ad on his signature.

I just noticed that he took over that thread and started charging people for immigration services

Ok, that's because the second ban by antispambot is still active but it goes off after 24hrs then he can edit his profile

Less than that but I will remove the ban temporarily for the ad to be removed.

I can only keep shaking my head consistently. Nairaland should upgrade to a stage where the mods can remove ads or any untowards information.

Why not even give Bellong the benefits of the doubt that probably he wasn't the one handling the phone at that time he was claimed to have been *viewing* ?

At least, I do open this thread for friends and hand the phone over to them to read through while I focus on other activities.

When a child ( first child of a house) offends, do we kill all other children emotionally because of the things of the other one.

Let not the proverbs the made in this land again...the fathers ate the fruits of the vine, the teeth of the children are set at edge.

To now kill everybody's dream because of the seemingly error of an OP is crime against the whole lots of Australia hopefuls.

Bnimz, and others, thanks for wading into this issue Jere.

I can only pray Bellong find the love he has for many Nigerian youths struggling enough sacrifice pushing him to do as bided by Oga moderator.

Hello Nairalanders,

I just got my PR and will be landing in Melbourne Australia in October by Gods grace. I need to start getting integrated as quickly as possible and so was wondering if there's anyone here who is in IT and can help me integrate quickly by way of advise, connection, suggestion, etc.

If there's also a whatsapp group I can join, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Go through it with a fine tooth comb and you will be good. You could also spend a good amount of time browsing through this link: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder

This is what I did, and hope it helps.

Good evening to all the Seniors in the house. Trust we’re all keeping well Sir/Ma. My family finally landed in Melbourne at about 5:05am local time. We checked through custom and proceeded to baggage claim only to discover one of our luggage was missed out by Emirates in Lagos. They got the details and assured us we’ll get it delivered to us tomorrow morning. We got a taxi pick us up to the Airbnb we booked at Glenroy and that’s where we’re at currently. We’ll really appreciate anyone who can show us round the town/few places and get to meet our very own people here before we proceed to Launceston on Sunday. Thanks fam

Welcome to Australia.

Instead of waiting for someone to hold your hand, just do it yourself. Google it. Enjoy the moment.
Glenroy is like 13km from the CBD. Get on a bus, train or uber - feel the city before you head off to Tasmania.

Good luck.

Nigerians are so good at supporting and defending nonsense.

Rules are made to be followed. If someone goes against it, he/she must be punished.

The fact that you haven't been banned for making remarks that ought not to be here shows the level of equal playing ground here.

As if the sound of ban would send a chill down my spine...

As long as you can't ban me from breathing. Let it roll in. I care less.

How much contributions have you made to that thread pre, intra and post bellong's ban?

Hello guys.

Please I need info about flying with Turkish airlines. I am aware they usually have stopovers at Instabul and Singapore or honkong..my question is; based on your experience (for those who have been flown to Australia by the airline), was a Turkish or Singapore Visa required at any of the stopover airports?

Please someone should help me with this info as quickly as possible cos it's very urgent.

Thanks in advance.

Good evening fam...i intend going for February 2020 studies in Australia for Diploma Nursing program in one of these university or Tafe colleges.

Which would you recommend I apply to as an international student?
I Graduated with a 3rd class degree from my uni currently working in a hospital pharmacy with 2 years experience.

My sponsor doesn't have enough reasons why i opted for a Nursing diploma program but not Undergraduate studies or postgraduate due to the cost.
Australia has always been a country I always wanted to migrate to.
