Mine is just lab scientist not medical lab specifically pharmacology laboratory scientist quote author=Alphadoor post=79981700]
No visa is easy these days.
Be ready to put in work and patience

As lab scientists, check the assessing body requirements. I think you have to do some special exams.

Alphadoor:
Hi Aussie Fam,
With support from the chief himself , Sir bellong,
There is a proposal to move this thread away from NL to an independent forum.

This will enable us interact better and track posts effectively.
Feature will include but not limited to

-better tracking of each NOC information.
-categorisation of each subject matter
-Easy navigation for new comers
-Archivable content.
-Avoid repetition of same issue over and over again, we can have "how to sections" for most used assessing bodies.
-profile progress tracking
-ITA dates countdown.
-
......and so much more.

This site will require all our effects to thrive as a community and this will require commitments from some users to acts as mods and supermods and champions
I have to warn that this new community will not be a walk in the park but it will be an interesting walk for us all.

Suggestion for site new is needed.
Volunteer for Mods, Supermods, and champions (People with vast knowledge of a particular assessing authority)

The idea is to have a platform like [url]www.migrati.. that will be information rich

Please note that nothing has been concluded or decided yet. this is just an idea for us to consider

So this is what has being going on here since 2017? And today many of you are pretending as if closing this thread was end of the world while you planned to move it away from nairaland 3yrs ago.

I have tried to refrain from speaking about this issue but this comment of yours is sickening.

You said a few hours ago that you don't want this thread derailed, yet you went to dig this up? What part of "Please note that nothing has been concluded or decided yet. this is just an idea for us to consider" did you not understand? So I guess you'll go through every previous comment on this thread just to prove a point? Who exactly are you trying to impress? Is this like a competition or what? I don't understand.

The way you have been deleting comments, fighting everyone on the thread and your absolute lack of respect makes me wonder why you're even a mod.

Can you please respect your own rule and stop instigating what you won't be able to handle? What you're doing currently is bullying and deliberately provoking people. ( which is against Rule number 2)

Thank you.

Is it true that one can get a genuine Australia or Canadian work visa from Nigeria?

Australia, Yes.

If you get a job directly from Nigeria and the employer is ready to sponsor you. It is very rare but not impossible.

Cheers.

This issue is at the heart of this thread and related to what is happening now. Whether nothing was concluded or not is irrelevant, if you attempted to a steal and failed that doesn't take way the fact that you are a thief.

Recently they designed another immigration website with an email address dropped here many times.

I hardly visit and read this thread only when issue is reported because i thought many here can be trusted to do the right thing.

Reading that thread i noticed that many here supporting bellong supported the idea of moving this thread to another forum.

This is a different case and has nothing to do with bellong's ban

The post was referring to creating a forum like immitracker and migration desk that is specifically for migration and tracking all Visa or nomination applications.

I'm sorry but you are wrong, the idea of the forum was clear and does not need interpretation, they want to move this thread to an independent forum. You can track all visas here and achieve info.

I'm surprised that many shouting don't close this thread because our lives depends on it was supporting moving the same thread out of NL yrs ago but couldn't do it.

I found out today that they have also created a website this year for immigration services and they have being dropping email address from that website here.

Justwise,

Kind sir, I'm baffled by the turnaround you made again after I was grinning that the issue at hand was taken to a separate place for discussion.

While I understand that a lot of things may irk you as a mod, esp having to deal with all kinds of personalities, it's still in the best interest and greater good of visitors and contributors to this thread that other side conversations with the potential of derailing the thread be taken elsewhere.

I'm willing to trust your judgement on this.

Thank you.

I'm really disappointed with many people here to say the least, i hardly visit this thread because i honestly believed that its in good hands but i was wrong.

I never knew about the plan to move this thread outside nairaland until today.

It's not an ideal situation I understand. It's how you handle it now that matters considering the general benefit of everyone.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by farnet: 4:29pm On Jul 06, 2019
@justwise, you really picked up this post for us to judge. I am not on nairaland then to know what transpired, but one thing I know is that one cant judge posts like that in isolation. You will need to get the whole posts as at that time for one to understand the premise, import and the context. I want to believe that anything that might have happened was out of goodwill, putting the people 1st, making things easier.
There's been some efforts here likewise as to creating telegram n WhatsApp groups. The groups in fact already exists. I have maintained they can't be better than this thread here, n would have preferred everything about this subject of oz migration discussed here. But this doesn't say I wont personally vote for any improved, easier n convenient system, nairaland or entirely new system.I won't be pretentious about it. This platform we undoubtedly love, but convenience n simplicity, we humans cant do without. Upgrading or some changes for improved services is yes a subject that needs discussion

Moving the thread out of NL was raised back then in part 1 and shutdown by numerous people because of obvious reasons and also for future applicants to gain info.

I believe despite so many threads on NL (not only Australia PR) creating WhatsApp groups for different purposes it has never affected the group participation and all, many of us refresh this page daily and contribute when we can.

Sometimes judging posts in isolation is not ideal, my own case in point where someone has challenged me my post on here because of my affiliations with other threads.

Please let us move on from this issue so that we can progress forward as a group.

N.B:that post was 2years ago I believe, if it was actually a serious effort or innovation, then this crisis as at hand may bot even occur

It does very much because it diverts traffic off this thread/section and the thread struggles to grow. Many threads in this section takes about 6months to hit 500 + pages but this one and many others with this whatsapp group issues take more than a year to get to even 200 pages.

Only 4 threads in front page of this section are pinned, the rest stay up purely because of traffic they generate and this particular thread hardly stay in front page of this section

If its about traffic, im afraid u have got a huge load of work to do. Your major threat is WhatsApp n telegram groups. There re tens of them, n the drivers have the links in their signatures n also frequently drop it in the thread calling for sign ups. As it is here, so it is in the Canny thread.

Good morning Everyone,

I have not post for a while but I think I need to respond to this. I maybe banned depending on how you see it, but will say what I believe is right and just. Some people have burning desires to help others achieve their goals and can only think of better ways to get it done.

The suggestion made by alphadoor then was in a bid to help people get information easily. I can remember then a lot new members on the thread asking some questions that were already answered and we kept referring them to read the thread from page 1. Even goodmemory had same issue if I remember correctly. It is not easy for people to read all previous thread. And search capability on the thread is not that developed or specific to immigration.

At the time we were already putting in a lot of time helping others with information and could not even create or move the thread as suggested. It would have been a lot of work. We however continued to help others as best as possible.

And for your information, the main reason the thread is not growing or getting the kind of hit you believe it should be getting is because "success stories" has reduced. And that is due to Australia's increase difficulty which you would have noticed if you had been visiting the thread regularly. How does it benefit people when a thread grow to 1 million page self. When people can't search easily. New comers would need to read from page one. It is well.

You are with the yam and the knive. You have the power to hide or allow people to view post. But at least I have post this. Maybe one or two people will see it before it is hidden, if it will be hidden.

People, we still have good people in this country that are not interested in personal gains but with burning desires to help others. But the problem is people always doubt their intentions. While some others are *only* interested in personal gains.
