Aisha Buhari should understand that there is a great difference between rape victim and rape claimant?

Besides, it is not out of place for the police on the request of the accused to demand that the rape claimant jusitifes her accusations before she can be officially awarded the title of victim.
And justice meted out deservingly.

I am also confined to construe this attention to the IG of Police as an act of using office as a tool for obstruction of justice.
This is no case of intimidation but that of elucidation of misrepresented facts.

The Dakolos have just gotten the best opportunity to come out with their facts, I expected them to embrace it and defend their claims.
This is more than shouting #NotInMyChurch, #MeToo or floating a money-funnel NGO.

This is about setting the facts clear.
They need not call Segalink or RuggedMan when next a strange car comes near their dirty house unless they're confirming what the bible says about the wicked who run when no one is chasing.

Well, what do I even know?

WISDOM.. everywhere for you alone!!

Here are some things people are saying:

“Sending a truck load of well armed policemen to invite a woman who claimed she was raped is just so very wrong. It says to the woman that the police is working for the accused, otherwise a couple of officers could have stopped by her house to deliver the letter in a none threatening way“

“A civil case local to Lagos that should be answered in a nearby police station in Lagos. How did it become a federal criminal case with lurking armed policemen from the IGP from Abuja suveiling a private citizen’s home and intimidating him to sign a paper to appear in Abuja”

Enough of this,If someone accused you of rape and instead of filing a case she prefer going all over social media granting interviews by denting your image, will you fold your hands and keep quiet, knowing that your reputation is at stake ?So you expect police to go there house beaming with smiles because she is celebrity wife? All other innocent citizens that have been busted or invited by the police are they less human? We Nigerians are just being sentimental with the truth. If she is certain and sure of her allegations, let her follow up the case and not coming to social media to curry sentiment, social media is not a court of law.I hope and pray you will not be a victim of blackmail.

Reading the comment made me sick! Who does that! A full bus of armed men just to serve an invitation letter? Haba!

When did “3 Police Officers” become a full bus? Or should they have trimmed the size of the bus to accommodate just three? Should they have gone in a Nissan Micra?

Please go back and read the post and stop embarrassing yourself online.

First point: She should embrace it.. it’s for her safety.
Second point: You are not okay. So you are allowed to go World Wide Web, global and International on accusing people on a very sensitive issue like RAPE but you want a local police station to handle the case? LOL grin You are just a hypocrite.

So much ignorance in your post. What has happened is that Pastor Fatoyinbo petitioned the IGP Abuja against the Dakolos for criminal conspiracy to defame him. The invitation is the commencement of the investigation into the petition of Fatoyinbo. Now they have the opportunity to prove the rape case.

See your mouth like statutory rape when did she ever say he used his position as a pastor to rape her. She said " "he said" that she is lucky to have a pastor disvirgin her" she said he said . Thats the whole point that this case relies on.
I could as well say that you raped someone yesterday .
Were you there . Before you start calling someone a rapist. Something you never saw you are already talking as if you were there when it happened...
Just keep quiet and go back to that zoo were you escaped from. It is people like you that cause unnecessary unrest in the public.
Calling a man a rapist before the court or even the police have even proved anything.

Claimant or victim. A bus of armed men was not required to deliver a letter. That's intimidation. It's designed to shake them.

The letter also has a threatening tone. From the IG office is quite a serious something. Finally, hope u read the part where Timi said they wrote a petition since June with no response? I am indifferent if she is a victim or a claimant. The police just showed clearly where they stand on this matter.

They could have used DHL to deliver that letter you know. Some say Timi should stop talking on social media. Unfortunately, SM is the only saviour for the oppressed in this country. He did the official thing by writing a petition and also the right thing by the public pressure IMO. How many of us even knew he wrote petition in June if not that he mentioned it.

I see the police bungling this case in favour of the Dakolos with this their style.

He did not Rape or Assault her ,this is just a simple case of unrequited love . She was obsessed with him in her youth and it resulted in them having sex they probably dated behind her parents back doing the do whenever her parents were out then as time went by he said he is nolonger interested probably wanted to focus on his ministry. Broke her heart and moved on while she never moved on. From what I am seeing if this guy came to her again this very day she will spread her legs like banana peels.
So now the only person being deceived is Timi dakolo I just pity the guy this lady is just using him to get back at her crush.
Come on she never even reported to her parents even once.... If the guy truly raped her which I highly doubt , which I don't even believe then he must have been one of the most desperate men in his youth to force a girl in her own home when other people her there and to be doing it repeatedly shocked when you read that statement again don't read it as a man or a woman just read it as a plain human being then you will start to notice that this is just a case of love gone south
U nailed it!
The bold explains it all
I am very sure fatoyinbo was her first love
You know how young girls act when they fall in love for the first time, she couldn't move on...but i am certain it was never rape, what they had was a romantic affair, not rape.

I don't know when emotions blinded some people's reasoning. There are two vehicles on the picture. A bus and a pick up. The bus is obviously another vehicle that perhaps is innocently passing and the pick up is the normal vehicle the police use to operate. Because a woman in a man's body started shouting wolf where there is none means the accused pastor is intimidating him? I think its guilty conscience that's worrying him. Well he almost succeeded in his game plan of gathering public sympathy cos people like u judge a book by its cover.

Police have their procedure of delivering invitation letter and using third party is not one of them ,if the police had been using such method to invite ordinary citizens, what makes Timi snd busola different ? I guess they had enough evidence that's why they came out publicly ? and why don't they file a case against Biodun if they are really sure ? The reason is they are on an image tarnishing spree which may eventually back fire . If the media loving Timi snd wife had file a complaint , am sure the copy will be on his media page now . Their is a Chinese adage that goes thus "war never determines who is right ,but who is left ".
