my love lets kidnap Rose now

Rose didn't even wait for her last deed to digest before she carried out an even more cruel one. This time, she went way too far.

Gift was having her bath in the bathroom that was in her room that peaceful Friday morning. Rose, who had decided to stay back home, just because of that prank noticed it and smiled in victory. She carefully sneaked into Gifts room and tiptoed to her bed. Gift was an organized and prepared person, so she had placed all the clothes she would wear for that days outing on the bed, including her underwear. Rose gave an evil smirk when she noticed it and raised up the little bottle in her hand. The bottle contained none other than.... powdered pepper.

She took the pink panties and sprinkled a lot of pepper on it, like she did with the salt. She then shook it off a little and placed it back carefully on the bed. When she noticed that Gift was coming out, she carefully dashed out of the room, without leaving any trace of her crime. Gift walked in and noticed the door shaking, but she didn't suspect anything. She wore the panties and the other clothes.

It was when Gift was in the kitchen, helping out Ini with the cooking that she noticed a burning sensation in between her legs. At first, she thought it was nothing but when it became too much, she began to panic. Ini noticed it and walked towards her.

"Gift, are you alright?"

"I...I don't know, I'm feeling something hot around my v*gina. Its very hot oooooo!!!" She started to yell.

"What, h.. what is it?"

"I don't know oooooo, it feels like fire!!! Gosh, my legs are on fire oooooo JESUS!!!!" she almost fell down but Ini held her. By then, she had turned red and she was sweating profusely.

"It's okay, let's go outside" Ini took her hand and began leading her out of the kitchen. They went downstairs with Gift screaming and shouting, until her voice attracted the attention of George and Susan, who were preparing to go to work. Rose was also with them, looking less concerned.

"What happened, what's wrong with you, Gift?" George asked.

"I don't know sir, but im on fire. My legs are on fire oooooo!!!" She yelled as she began to use her hand to fan the area.

"She's complaining of a burning sensation around her pelvic area, she's in pains" Ini explained.

"What?!" He turned to Susan who also seemed shocked. Rose was desperately trying to hold back her laughter. Gift turned her eyes and saw her. She didn't need a tutor to make her realize who was behind her current predicament.

"Um, okay, take her to her room and see if you can help her out. If it persists, we might have to take her to the hospital" George said. Ini nodded and took Gift out, who was acting like a mad woman now.

When they were out of ear shot, George turned and saw Rose covering her mouth. He frowned deeply.

"Are you behind this, Rose?"

Rose widened her eyes. "What, no!!"

"Stop lying Rose, don't think I don't know that you have been behind Gifts misfortunes these past few days. I mean, I know you hate her but this, this is just too much! Do you realize that those are her privates? Do you want to damage her reproductive systems and her life? How can you be so heartless Rose?"

"Stop talking that way to your daughter George, she said that....."

"Stay out of this Susan" he turned to Rose "And you, let this be the last time you'd carry out such wickedness again. I did not train a monster. If you can't handle Gifts presence here again, you might as well just leave, okay?"

Rose widened her eyes. "are you seriously chasing me out of your house dad? Because of that....that filthy piece of trash?"

"You have been warned"

He picked up his car keys and stormed out. Rose turned to her mom and pointed to the door.

"Really mum?"

"Don't worry, I'll talk to him, okay?" Susan patted her and walked out to.

Rose frowned and folded her arms.

"I am not leaving this house because of you Gift. Infact, this......is just the beginning..."she muttered coldly.

Episode 9
The group of girls burst into another round of laughter as Rose told them about the pepper incident. The four of them were in the canteen, having lunch in the hot weather of the afternoon.

"You should have seen her face" Rose continued admist laughter "She was like; Jesus ooo, I'm on fire, come and help me oooooo" she explained mimicking Gifts face and voice. The girls laughed again.

"But honestly girl, you are mean. I mean putting pepper in someone's pant, chai!!" Doris exclaimed.

"She hasn't seen anything yet, I'm just starting with her" Rose narrowed her eyes and took another sip of her coke.

"But seriously, I can't imagine living in the same house with a girl who took my boyfriend away from me. It's unthinkable" Sandra chirped in.

"Well yes, you're right. But I can't imagine leaving that house for her so she can enjoy the fact that she destroyed my relationship. Speaking of Edwin, have you guys heard from him lately?"

"Actually, no. Ever since the party, he disappeared and no one has heard from him till now. Even Amos and the other guys don't know his whereabouts. Maybe he has run away to that messed up family of his" Michelle explained and took a sip of her Fanta.

"Why are you even asking about him girl? Have you forgotten that he is also a stupid jerk?" Doris asked.

"I'm just worried about him. He wouldn't have done something like that if that bitch hadn't seduced him" Rose defended with a worried look.

"Speaking of the devil..." Doris narrowed her eyes and they all turned towards the door where she was looking. They saw Gift and Genevieve walking in the canteen.

"Great" Rose muttered with a deep frown.

Gift and Genny made to settle down on one of the tables nearby the door when Gift turned and saw Rose starring at her venomously.

"Oh no, she's here" Gift panicked.

"Who's here?" Genny turned to her.

"Rose! She's staring at us"

Genny hissed "So?"

"So? Let's just leave here Genny, I don't want any trouble, abeg"

"Abegi come jor! Is she your God? So because of her you shouldn't eat and relax again?" Genny asked and made her to sit down.

"Please Genny, can't we just eat another place?"

"Well, unless you are ready to take me to Mama Sweetie and buy me a confam meal of Eba with Egusi soup and a lot of meat, I'll be glad to leave" Genny blinked referring to the expensive restaurant across the school gate. Gift sighed and slapped her forehead.

"Good. Now let me go get us something to eat, don't move, I'll be right back"

Genny stood up and headed for the counter. Gift just turned away with a nervous look, looking out the door. Her heart beat faster and she began to sweat. She knew Rose and her group were still staring at her. Finally, Genny arrived with a tray of snacks and two bottles of come in her hands. She placed it on the table.

"Food is served" she sat down.

"Let's just eat fast and leave please" Gift snapped. She grabbed her doughnut and began eating quickly.

A few minutes later, Rose and her gang began walking towards their table. Gift turned and saw them. She swallowed hard.

"Oh no"

Rose arrived and towered in front of her.

"You know, you've really got some nerve showing your face here after what you've done. Are you really so daft?" Gift opened her mouth to respond but Genny interrupted.

"Why, Rose, I didn't know you were the owner of this canteen, are you?" Genny asked as politely as she could.

"Who asked this pig now?" Doris interjected. Genny dropped her jaw, looked at Gift and towered in front of Doris.

"You called me a pig? Me, me?? Mua?" Genny beat her chest.

"Genny, please calm down, you're creating a scene" Gift pleaded.

"No don't tell me to calm down. Look at this lesbian dog, calling me a pig, is she crazy?"

Doris dropped her jaw and placed her hands on her head.

"What did you just call me?"

"A LESBIAN DOG!! what will you do, ehn?"

Her question was responded with a very hot slap from Doris. Soon, both women saw themselves punching and kicking each other until they were rolling on the floor, with Genny, easily getting the upper hand. The students began to hail them both and make noises, while Gift tried in vain to separate them, until a lecturer walked in......

"You know, all this could have been avoided, if we had just minded ourselves and left the canteen earlier" Gift frowned as she placed a wet, cotton cloth, on a bruise by Genny's left cheek. They had left the war zone canteen a couple of hours ago and Gift was treating some of her wounds and bruises. If not for the timely intervention of the lecturer, the fight would have gotten bloody.

Genny hissed as she slapped of Gifts hand.

"Abeg leave me jor. See, I don't even regret anything I did. I still feel that I didn't deal with that witch enough. How I wish that I had also gotten my hands on that useless girl named Rose, nonsense!"

Gift smiled and shook her head.

"You do realize that Doris' father is a powerful politician right?"

"Well my father is a powerful soldier, if she tries anything I'm gonna blow her head off, who is she sef?"

She bowed her head and smiled.

"Alright soldier, I think it's time for you to get some rest, it's been a long day for you" she patted her shoulder.

"Are you going?" Genny asked calmer this time.

"Yes, I need to go, I'll call you later" Gift picked up her hand bag and stood up.

"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow" Genny stood up and accompanied her to the door.

"Bye, don't fight again oooo" Gift laughed and opened the door.

"Tell them not tempt me na, bye bye Biko" She shut the door and fell on the bed.

Gift got some distance from the hostel and glanced at her watch. 5:00pm. There was still time. She didn't want to go home yet because she knew she would return to her current misery. She thought of calling Amaka and branching at her house, but then realized that she'd still be at work by then. Then an idea struck her. She took out her small itel phone and went to her call logs. She became a little relieved when she saw the number was still there. She pressed the call button and placed it on her ear, holding her breath as it rang.

Uchenna glanced at his wall clock in the office and smiled when he saw the time. 5:02pm. It was closing time. He stood up and began arranging the files on his desk when his phone rang. She checked the ID and raised a brow at the unknown number. Finally, after several seconds of endless ringing, he picked up the phone and placed it on his ear.

"Hello?"

"Hello Uche, it's me... Ngozi"

He raised a brow and almost stumbled.

"N..Ngo, how are you, how's it going?"

She swallowed and answered " Fine.. can we meet, I'd like to talk to you"

"Um, okay, where do you want us to meet?"

"Anywhere"

"Okay, where are you now?"

"I'm at school, the place where you confronted me"

"Okay, I'll be there in no time, just wait for me"

She cut the call and he jumped in excitement.

"Yes!! Yes!! Yeess!!"

He quickly picked up the fairly arranged files, and swung it into his drawer. He then picked up his phone and made to dash out of the office, almost forgetting his briefcase. He went out and met Jane packing as well.

"Sir, this one that you're excited, what's up?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Don't worry, I'll explain everything to you later. Lock my door oooo" he ordered as he washed out of the complex. Jane smiled and shook her head.

She sighed as she put the phone back in her bag. She was now waiting under the mango tree for Uchenna. What was she even doing? She was calling the same man who treated and she treated like dirt. She thought that she hated him, but no, she didn't. She still had love for him but was too afraid and angry to admit it. Now she was ready to swallow her pride and open her heart again. She had to.

She was still swimming in her pool of thoughts when Uchennas car parked in front of her. He winded down his car and waved. She smiled a little and went into the car.

"Hi" He greeted.

"Hi" She responded and turned to the window. He shrugged, turned on his ignition and began to drive.

All throughout the drive, Gift faced the window while Uche threw occasional glances at her. They were both quiet, not knowing what to say to each other. Finally, after what seemed like ages, they arrived a very large bridge. It was decorated with all sorts of artificial coloured lights, which lit it up at night and enhanced it's beauty. The stars were out and the evening was cool. Only a handful of people, mostly lovers, were seen walking around there. The sea waves clammed with each other, making sea melodies. It was a wonderful and perfect scenery.

Uchenna parked the car where other cars were parked. He stepped out and opened the door for her. He felt like grabbing her hand and leading her, but he knew she would protest. He folded his fist and smiled.

"Common, let's go"

She nodded and they both began to walk side by side. Finally, they arrived a spot that directly faced the lit up city. The sea seemed calmer at their presence. They rested on the rails, not saying anything for a while. Finally, Uche broke the silence.

"So..um..it's been quite a while now. How are you now Ngo? A lot has changed about you, you know. You even let your hair grow" he said that and smiled, remembering when her hair was a clean low cut back in the village.

She shrugged "Nothing much, still struggling and suffering till now" she sighed "I just really need someone to confide in"

"I'm glad you choose me" .

"I don't think you'll want to Continue to be interested in me after I tell you this"

He placed his hand on hers and gave an assuring smile. She held her breath and turned away.

"I betrayed my best friend. I kissed her boyfriend" she broke down in tears. For a while he didn't say anything. He just stood there, staring at her, dumbfounded. She expected to turn again and see him walking away. But he just stood there. Finally, he sighed and said.

"It's okay"

She widened her eyes and turned to him "It is?"

He nodded his head "Yeah, I guess that makes us even now. Remember I was the one that hurt you first, I guess this just evens the odds" he smiled a little, even though he was hurt.

"Truth is, I really didn't mean to. I was just so confused and emotionally disturbed. You know, you came back to my life and all. I just really didn't know what I was doing that time. Infact..it's all your fault I did that"

He widened his eyes "How?"

"If you hadn't left me, if you hadn't treated me so cruelly, then we would have still been together and I wouldn't have had a cause to do that. I blame you for all this!"

"Ngo,I'm really sorry. I didn't really mean to hurt you. The truth is, I still love you. Even after we broke up, I never really forgot about you. You can only imagine how I felt when I discovered the truth. No other person has ever replaced you in my life. I still want you back...I miss you so much" he held her hands.

"I miss you too Uche. I'm so sorry for the way I treated you before, please forgive me" she sniffed.

"It's okay, I'm just glad that you're back to me, baby" he cupped her face and drew her closer to him, until their lips were locked in a passionate kiss.....

Episode 10
Susan dropped her phone when she heard a soft knock on the door. She had decided to stay back home today because of the visitor she was expecting later that afternoon. She stood up, opened the door and smiled when she saw her expected visitor at last.

"William!" She called out and hugged him.

"Susan!! How are you?" He asked as he hugged back.

"I'm good, come in" she gestured and he walked in.

William Okoye was a short, dark and pot bellied man who had a striking resemblance to George, although George was slimmer and younger. He looked like someone in his early sixties, even though he was years older than that.

He sat down and let out a sigh of relief "Whew, what a tiring journey"

"Really, I didn't know Umuahia to Owerri was that far"

"To someone who is nearing his grave, everywhere is far"

Susan threw her head back in laughter "How's everybody Will, you know, Grace and the kids?"

"They are doing well, she sent her regards by the way"

"Hope you are treating her well oooo"

He hissed "Is she treating me well? Abeg leave that matter jor"

"Ok oooo. So, what would you like to eat?"

"Anything swallow. Something like akpu with ofe onugbo (bitter leaf soup) and of course, plenty of fish and meat"

"Ah, uncle Will, you never change ooo" she laughed and headed for the kitchen.

He smiled at her and his eyes met the large wedding picture of she and George on the wall. His smile faded as he wished he was the one holding her by her side. He sighed again. His thoughts were distrupted by Susans voice from the dinning.

"Will, food is ready" she called as she placed the food on the dinning. He went there and began to savour his hefty lunch.

"You're still an incredible cook Sue"he complimented and took another ball of fufu.

"Yeah, sure" she scratched the back of her head and gave a fake smile.

He hate very well, and by the time he was done, he felt like a pregnant woman. Both he and Sue were now on the dinning table, opposite each other.

"Thanks for the meal Sue, it was.. spectacular"

"You're welcome uncle Will, I'd like to talk to you about something"

"What is it?" He asked with interest.

"It's about your brother George...I'm...I'm suspecting he has an affair"

"Yes....and I think it's with our maid..."

"I'm telling you mum, it doesn't make any sense" Rose explained as she placed left and right in front of her mother, who was seated at a cushion at home, obviously in deep thought.

"I mean" Rose continued "Why would dad insist on keeping that girl at home if he's not having an affair with her?"

"But Rose, I don't think your father would dare do something like that to me. I mean, he's too responsible to possibly have an affair with a filthy rag like her"

She scoffed "Open your eyes mum, we're talking about Gift here, you know, the girl who stole my boyfriend and ruined my relationship. She's capable of laying her hands on any man, and dad isn't an exception. If not, why does he like her so much then, ah ahn, think"

"Well, I suppose you're right, but what do we do?"she asked rubbing her chin.

"Let's just leave that house mum. I've said it before and I say it again. First it was Alexis, and now it's Gift. Isn't it obvious that he's an infidel who doesn't deserve anything good?" She asked raising her hands up.

Susan kept quiet for a while. After what seemed like ages, she spoke "No, let's not make any rash decisions yet. You know what, I'll call your uncle William and inform him about the issue. I'm sure he'll talk some senses into his brother, okay?"

Rose hissed "Ohhh, mummy you're indulging this man too much now, why call Uncle William?"

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing, ok? If your dad doesn't change after William talks to him, then I'll leave, alright?"

She sighed "Fine"

Will sighed and shook his head as Sue just concluded her explanation.

"Honestly Will, I'm really confused. I'm considering Rose option of just leaving this house and ending our marriage, but I can't just imagine leaving my marriage because of a mere maid. This girl in question cheated on my daughter with her boyfriend. She took him away from Rose, and now she's facing my husband, but he insists on keeping her in this house. And you know how much I love George, eh? Biko, William, talk to your brother for me abeg" she spread her arms on the table.

"Hm, okay, I'll see what I can do" he nodded.

"Thanks William, I'll really appreciate it"

"No problem. Hm, George, George? Ok oooo. Um Sue, I'm feeling tired, I think I need to sleep"

"Sure, let me take you to your room" they both stood up.

Later that night, George returned home feeling very exhausted from the days work. He slouched on the couch and made to remove his shoes when he heard a familiar male voice calling his name. He raised his head and saw none other than his elder brother coming downstairs.

"William?" He widened his eyes and stood up.

"Hello Brother, how are you?" He made to hug him but George remained limp.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with a frown.

"I came to visit my younger brother and his family, is that a problem?"

"Stop playing good person William, you and I both know that you are not that kind of person. What do you really want?"

He smiled "Go and freshen up first, when you're done, we can talk about it" Just then, Susan and Rose came out to meet them. Rose and Will had already greeted each other earlier in the day.

"Don't tell me that please! Say what you want to say now!" He folded his arms impatiently.

"Alright, fine. But first, I want your maid to be here"

George widened his eyes and turned to his wife and daughter who seemed less concerned.

He narrowed his eyes "Fine. INI! GIFT!!"

"Yes sir" Gift responded as she and Ini stepped out of the kitchen. Will widened his eyes when he saw Gift. He couldn't blame George for cheating, the girl was a goddess!

"I'm glad you all are here, please sit down, all of you"

They all sat, with Gift looking nervous.

Will cleared his throat "Um, yesterday or so, Sue called me on phone and she sounded distressed. She said she would like me to come over to Owerri immediately. So, I left Umuahia today and came. Uhh, she explained me that the reason she called was because of you" he paused for a while "George, what's going on between you and your maid?"

Gift widened her eyes and turned to Ini. George also seemed shocked.

"What do you mean exactly?" He asked after a while.

"You know what I mean. Do you have an affair with her?"

"What?! What sort of preposterous accusation is that"

"Eh eh, George, spare me the grammar please. Na only you way go school. Simple question that you should answer yes or no is what you you are bombarding me with grammar for, are you okay?"

"You must be mad! And I'm sure it was Susan that filled your head with such nonsense"

William dropped his jaw "George, you said I'm mad. Me?"

"Yes, what will you do?"

"With all due respect sir" Gift chirped in "It is very wrong for you to accuse me of doing such a disgusting thing. I see Mr George as my father. I don't see any reason why I would have an affair with him, please"

"Who asked you, ehn?" Rose barked.

"Um, Rose, it's okay. I think I've heard enough so far" he cut in immediately. "This meeting is over, I'm going to bed" he stood up and Susan followed.

"Better for you, nonsense, can you imagine?"

"Dad, why would you talk to your elder brother like that? All because of this slut?" Rose asked pointing to Gift. Gift narrowed her eyes and folded her fists, but Ini held her.

"My friend, shut up! Idiot!! I'm sure it was you that came up with such a thought! Common get out of my sight, nonsense"

Rose hissed and stormed out. Meanwhile, Sue was trying to calm Will down.

"Will please calm down, he really didn't mean all he said"

"What is that supposed to mean? Didn't you see the way he talked to me? Just because he is richer than me and all, he wouldn't even have gotten where he was if not for you, who does he think he is?"

"Please Will, just forget about it, he's still your brother"

"No, he's not. Obviously, I'm not welcome here. Tommorow, I'll be leaving, nonsense!" He stormed out.

"Will wait! Oooooo, see what this useless man has caused" she placed her hands on her head.
