Good morning guys ..
About this shell application , I remember when my dad was giving us an advise, he said at the time he was seeking for job , he applied for shell and also applied for the Nigerian Immigration

He said it was after a year shell called him and at the same time , he was about to resume the immigration office. Thus, he choose the immigration office and left shell aside. This was years years back

Shell recruitment takes long for graduate trainee .. If you are an experience applicant, it takes shorter time ... So please let us not put too much mind in this recruitment. Get you mind off it but check your mail box daily coz anything can happen.

Apply for other companies and if given the job then Work. If shell calls you and you pass the all the stages then you can manover, divert and even capsize yourself to the other side and work with shell .

me ayam tired of typing

Good day everyone

My graduate trainee application review is still in progress, when others have gotten mails of not being fit. I am seriously in the dark right now, any hope?

I applied since 12 Jul., and my personality test is OK. Which way fellas?

Hello guys, thought to share this here. I just had an online conversation with someone directly involved in this recruitment process on the Shell end and in summary, the person said applications are still being reviewed in detail with qualifications and degrees being matched. I wanted to ask why some got ODVI invites few days after they applied, on that Sunday the 14th, but couldn't ask that because of the way the conversation went. So generally, applications are still being reviewed thoroughly and a response from shell should come when they are done. I have no further information after this.

Well this recruitment seems to be very though. So they are actually reviewing qualifications against position applied. Someone might actually get the best mark, but if your course of study is not in line with the advertised positions, the person will likely be rejected. This is the reason why is taking to much time now. Am sure about this. Once they finish merging the position applied against course of study, then they will check the number of people that qualifies the next stage and issue them ODVI. Then is from that ODVI that they will only take the exact number of people they want for each position.
