Please don't call us a xenophobic country. You can't prove that your countrymen were killed by South Africans but we can prove that most of the Nigerians who got killed here, were killed by their own compatriots. Even your own diplomats have told you many times about this but you prefer to cling to this insult to our nation.
You probably don't know or even care to know that the greatest majority of Nigerians live here happily as students, workers, experts, religious leaders, cultural activists and business people.
We don't really care about Shoprite and MTN, whether or not you close them down. The vast majority of my countrymen are not shareholders of those companies. Their further presence and operation in Nigeria doesn't change the price of bread for us. It's your sovereign right to take decisions on the matter.
Come to South Africa and see us enjoying life with normal Nigerians, Ghanaians, Ivorians, Mozambicans Zimbabweans, other Africans, Asians, Americans and Europeans.
Our government's decision to invite President Buhari to South Africa is not a sign of weakness but wisdom. Nigeria and South Africa need to work together in partnership and effectively address the challenges that plague them and our continent.
I hope that the Nigerian delegation will have the time for a detailed presentation on the crime situation, the role of some Nigerians in it, including how and why they even kill their compatriots.
my friend it is not only Nigeria that is complaining that South Africa is Xenophobic other Africans too are complaining so save all this epistles

You sound like a victim of propaganda or an agent of one of the media agencies that have been working very hard at disseminating falsified video clips, photos and manipulative information in Nigeria and elsewhere as a way of ensuring that there'll be a conflictous relationship between Nigeria and South Africa, thereby making it particularly difficult for African countries to work together.
you see the problm I have with your minister and you in particular,is, you see Nigerians as fools whose brains
could easily be manipulated. Now,we've seen footages of how your people,
including police are killing Innocent Nigerians..
how do you solve a problem workout firstly acknowledging its existence and the attempt to deny the killing of Nigerians by you and your minister is very appalling.

Goes to show black your star brain has degenerated.
You were making bogus claims of why you're proud of your banana republic and I reminded you the things that really made you a Banana republic and your inability to manage your country and had to call in white men to come manage your country and economy for you since you have black star brain that doesn't shine and would not shine till eternity

shut up with this your baby damage control nonsense.
Do you think Nigerians are stupid and not seeing what's going on.
A very Respected woman was in your country for a conference and you human savages hacked her to death for no reason
instead of your Moronic minister to firstly acknowledge and apologize for those avoidable incidents, she's here creating the distorted impression that SOUTH AFRICAN LIVES AND PROPERTIES IN NIGERIA MATTER MOST to her.
Her action could be likened to denial

YoungHunter:
The Government of South Africa has expressed concern over the call by the National Association of Nigerian Students for the expulsion of South Africans and their investments in Nigeria.

The country made its feelings known in a statement by Counsellor in-charge of Political Affairs at the South African High Commission, Abuja, Anna-Maria Jojozi, on Sunday.

Jojozi said, “I wish to express my department’s concern regarding statements said to emanate from student organisation in Nigeria, calling for expulsion of South Africans and protests at South African owned businesses.

“We find these statements most unfortunate as they do not reflect the strong relations that exist between the people and Government of South Africa and Nigeria.

Jojozi said South Africa’s Acting High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Bobby Moroe, had held several meetings with the police and other senior government officials in Nigeria.

She added, “They have also assured us that South African citizens and their property in Nigeria will be protected.

“South Africa values the strong ties it has established with Nigeria and will continue to enhance these even further.”

Just thought it wise to tap this in.
You would agree with the fact that businesses often move from one city to another, state to state and also countries as part of their growth strategies. Often times issues arise in these locations and in most cases not because of the operations of these businesses but maybe because of social or governmental policies. A good number of times, we as a people take laws into our hands and then expect good to come to us yet I also feel it is right for organisations to come out publicly to denounce any act that seems to be jeopardizing their reputation.
As one that is well traveled, what are your thoughts on the demand for South Africa brands to leave the country? Has Shoprite done right to disassociate itself and condemn the xenophobic act? Is there more to what we know as to why only Nigerians are being attacked.

Punitive damage that involves money always stings really bad. Cripple their businessess, this is the best strategy. The average SA will not care but i bet you government and business who are the real power in SA will.

It's very said that someone has persuaded you and other Nigerians to think and believe this lie. Nigerians are not the only victims of crime. We have millions of African immigrants. Some have left their countries half empty . They are everywhere and they came here with their criminals.
Everyone who lives here, including South Africans, is a potential victim of crime. It is a shameless lie from the bottomless pit of hell that Nigerians are being especially targeted for extra judicial assaults and killing. It doesn't matter how many times this lie is repeated, we are not and we'll never be the inhumane savages you've been made to believe we are.
The indisputable fact is that the majority of Nigerians who are murdered in this country are murdered by Nigerian criminals. Palpable evidence to that effect can be adduced, if required.
Others may have been killed by other African immigrant or SA criminals. We know of cases whereby innocent Nigerians (not criminals) were attacked and mugged by foreign criminals. I personally know at least one who was attacked and robbed by Zimbabwean criminals. Criminals don't care where you come from. You need to understand that this country is like the USA in the sense that it's packed full with foreigners from practically every country in the world. There are all kinds of criminal gangs from those countries and they often fight and kill each other for the crime market and whatever is available in it - money, women, drugs, etc.
The other thing you should know is that most people who are killed in this country are South African. 57 South Africans, not Nigerians, are killed here everyday mainly but not only by other South Africans who may be criminals, spouses, family members, friends, neighbours, etc.
None of your people, not even one, has ever been killed by a South African mob in a spate of so-called xenophobia. YOU ARE BEING LIED TO. We know that there's a Nigerian businessman who's media agency is one of the agencies that are feeding Nigerian and World media with fabricated news, videos and photos about so-called xenophobia. He operates from Johannesburg and Port Harcourt. There's another similar agency in Zimbabwe which publishes this kind of nonsense. The question is, why are they doing this? What is their strategic objective? Is there a political or financial motive behind their unscroupulous and red devil actions? Why are some people so determined to denigrate the good name of my country? I have my own answers to those questions but I'm not the South African government and I don't work for them. It's up to them to do something about this matter.

I'm not sure but I doubt that you are South African. If you are, I'm very disappointed because you are no different from those who designed the false story of a xenophobic South Afriica which is targeting Nigerians for extra judicial killing. I say so because the result of what both you and the purveyors of lies about our country is the same.
Nigeria is a great country of highly talented, industrious and hard-working people. You should be aware by now now that despite the statistics, diagrams and photos that you've shared, there are areas of human endeavour in which Nigerians beat us and or are capable of beating us hands down. Besides, all the nonsense you are boasting about has not and is unlikely to change the lives of the majority of our people in the foreseeable future. It belongs to a select few black and white people who don't care about the fact that some of our children go to bed and or to school without food in the stomach. You're boasting about things that don't belong to you.
I pray that you're a child and don't know where we come from with Nigeria, have no clue and can't envision where we are supposed to go with them and other African countries. Please stop this infantile disorder.
I'm deeply hurt that you even had to post old photos of Igbo maidens as part of your insulting boast. How different are they from our women? I don't think that any of our women, especially during this Women's Month and only a few days after Women's Day, would be entertained by what you are doing. Are you even black African?
